The Focusrite Scarlett 18i6 is an 18 in / 6 out USB 2.0 audio interface designed to make home multitrack recording a breeze. I have no connection to Focusrite apart from owning the saffire pro 24, the scarlet 18i6 and the saffire pro 24 and octopre dynamic device.Its a great device for a sound hobbyist or someone who wants to get away from an internal sound card in their pc and enter the world of sound recording.Anyway I hope the video helps with your choice of new sound interface.

Great interface

Bought this to replace NI Audio Kontrol 1, I needed more IO. Installed without a problem, sounds great and the software mixer is surprisingly good and I've be using that more than expected. The NI interface was good but I like this better. Nice to have something designed in England in the home studio.

Best Choice for me!

This item came very quickly less than 24 hours after ordering. Package was great, no damage. I installed it with little to no problem. Tested it out with an Audio-technical condenser mike (AT3035) and it produced an excellent take. My studio monitors are connected to it no noise or buzzing or hums etc. All in all I am very happy with it. Only disappointment its only got to monitor outs but I have a solution for that in the Mackie Big knob or something like it.Worth the money I paid.Excellent!!!!
