Worth the money
By Arnold Simpson
Very impressed with this bit of equipment. Sturdy, well packaged, looks the part - only fault I can think of is the diameter of the rods to hold the weights.......slightly larger than the hole in the weights I have! No mention of sizes here, but there appears to be a third size of bars/weights now (Olympic, standard and now this one in the middle!)

Super Woofer
By CountryBumpkin
Well made robust CD Player with ipod dock also with handy input for gutar or similar electric instrument. For a ghetto blaster this will fill any room with plenty of volume. Perfect for dance/exercise classes or simply annoying your neighbours.

JVC RV NB70S
By Mrs. B. Cheshire
Did a lot of research on this unit. Argos and other well known companies also sell the JVC boombox but it is an older model and unfortunately that only plays old ipods. This JVC system is excellent, has a decent volume, is simple to operate and is very rhobust. I wanted a unit that play Cd's as well as be suitable for my ipod classic and it is. I bought it to keep at one of my exercise classes and, as soon as I have a secure cupboard, that's where it will stay because the only disadvantage I have found with this system is that it is so big, when transporting it about, I keep hitting my car with it!!If you want it for personal use or teach small exercise classes up to around 25 people, this is the system for you, but remember it has to be the NB70S not any other model. (actually the S only refers to the colour silver so B would also be OK which I assume would be black)

Brabantia Ironing Board
By Arlene
My previous Ironing Board was a Brabantia and still going strong after 25 years but I decided to trade it in for a newer model. This is a beautiful ironing board, lovely sleek lines, well-built and just the right size for me. It is easy to fold up and put away and just as easy to put up again. It is not too heavy either (I'm a weakling). The board is long enough to iron one half of a double duvet with ease. The board is sturdy and does not move around during use. The steam rest holds my iron comfortably and securely. I love everything about this Ironing Board and would highly recommend it.

JVC RV-NB70B
By Mr. Gary Simpson
Got this thing mainly for taking camping, whether with wife and kids or festivals(small ones not the likes of t in the park for fear of it getting nicked). It might seem a bit excessive but sometimes our group of friends have parties in rural spots so its good to have the firepower when called upon and this thing has plenty, good solid bass and all round sound even at half volume. My only concern before I bought was how quick scrolling through 40 gig worth of ipod menu would be with it being behind a door but the remote does a good job,not as quick as the pod wheel itself but if I need to get from one end of the menu to the other fast I can always open the door while playing and work the wheel. The good thing with this model is the audio in line to allow connectivity for allsorts such as a tv or non ipod mp3s. The usb and guitar input I prob wont use but is always there as an option. The 4 preset sound modes and bass level control are all thats needed for an outdoor stereo although some would disagree.Havent yet tested battery life but going by other reviews they last ages.Only cons I can think of would be to have MW radio as well as FM and also the system only charges the ipod when its on mains power(might not be possible on batteries)All in all a good buy.

A good machine on the whole although it distorts a little at high volume,it does pack a punch though.I teach drums and it does give me a very good level to match the louder pupils...

Excellent player, thus far.
By Broadflash
The unit was purchased for our daughter to use for teaching dance, so the following is what we have found. This box has everything for portable use, the audio in is an excellent idea which means one can plug almost any sound source in such as a mp3 player etc, the usb is also a great usable source. If JVC had not come up with this aux it just would not have served its purpose.Sound is great. My son likes it so much he is considering purchasing the same.

Brabantia Ironing Board
By Annie
I am 69 years old and have had the same old ironing board for 30 years! I decided I needed to treat myself - if you can call ironing a 'treat' - to a new one. After looking through all those available on Amazon I decided on the Brabantia Ironing Board with Solid Steam Iron rest. You could tell how old my previous board was because there were at least four different covers, each laid on top of the other! It wasn't until I received my new Brabantia board that I realised how much that even ironing board technoloigy has changed in 30 years. The new board is light, springy and a delight to use. The only criticism I would have is that it doesn't go down quite low enough for me, as I like to do my ironing whilst sitting down. The steam iron rest is also very efficient and stable.

Item arrived quickly and was packaged very well. Also, great product with the cheapest price. The album is a great way of storing the coins so that they can also remain in their packaging and stay protected.

Ironing was never so enjoyable!
By Annie W
This is a good, sturdy ironing board, exactly the quality one would expect from Brabantia. Bought specifically because I wanted a wide one on which to iron bedlinen, it has been a great success, allowing decent widths of fabric to be ironed at one time. The various height settings means any of the family (if only!) can use it in comfort, and, although it's a little heavier than my last board, it's only in proportion to its increased width. I'd happily recommend this to anyone.
