Loyal travel companion: Kipling's very own TARDIS

This is your indestructible multipurpose bag. I have been using it for doing groceries, sports, going to the beach, weekend trips and longer holidays. Good design, sleeves are still long enough when fully packed. When not in use it takes up little storage space.The best thing about this bag is that it looks smaller than its actual capacity. Lightweight yet strong, this makes the perfect cabin luggage, never refused because it looks much smaller than the other cabin luggage pieces. Do weigh it beforehand, because you can actually exceed the 10 kilos limit if you are determined to bring as much as possible. If you use this bag as a daily bag or on short trips, you will need an organizer for toiletries and gadgets. It has no structure and no organizer except for two small pockets.The quality is as can be expected from the Kipling basic line. Durable and weather proof. You can even put this bag in the laundry machine. I know Kipling doesn't recommend putting your bag in the laundry machine but besides the color (I'll come back to this subject), everything is fine, just use the program for delicate fabrics. I have used this bag a lot but still no damage, even the lining is still fine. Same goes for the zipper, unlike other brands, no problems at all.One thing didn't prove to be everlasting: The color does not like laundry machines, beach, sea salt and sun. After 4 years the dark blue turned into some sort of green color, especially at the front side.Two notes on how Kipling could improve this bag:I would actually buy one more if Kipling added a trolley sleeve. I put this bag on a cabin trolley during travelling but it always slides off at some crucial moment. I also have the Kipling Kos M Medium Travel Tote that comes with a trolley sleeve, but capacity is 14 liters compared to this bag which more than doubles with a capacity of 33 liters.Please designers, add a clipped keycord, keys tend to get lost in this big bag.Some confusing specifications on the websites:The UK Kipling site says 20 liters, the Dutch and German versions say 33 liters. I think it is 33 liters. The Kipling Kos holds 14 liters and capacity is clearly less than half of the Kipling Art.

Ideal, Lightweight Bag

I have long wanted a Kipling weekend bag. This is ideal, very light to start with and a good size. The inside is one large space save for a zipped hanging pocket useful for keys, purse etc. I was pleased to find an open pocket on the front behind the zip pocket. I chose black, partly as it was the best priced but also that my husband will be happy to use it as his overnight bag. This bag will be used as a weekender and flight cum beach bag. As with all my Kipling bags, I expect years of use from this and know it will come up like new on a low machine wash. Thank you Javari!
