Great Value For Money!
By JamesTheCat
I received it three days after ordering it (a day before I expected it - which is always good!). Set it up this morning and although it doesn't come with instructions on how to put it together, you don't really need them, though I must admit that I couldn't fathom it at first, but as soon as I realised my error, I had it up in no time. The backdrop is pretty good, and it threads straight on to the cross beam. A slight niggle is that it's creased to high heaven, but nothing that an iron won't fix, and it had to be transported somehow anyway, so not really something that could be avoided. It's my first studio backdrop, as I'm a complete amateur, but at the price it was, it was hard to not go for it, and I'm not disappointed. You can put it together and take it apart in a matter of minutes (and I mean less than three!), and it all stores nicely in the case.If you're after a great value for money studio backdrop, then you can't go wrong with this! The heights are very adjustable, going up to a maximum height of a little over two metres.Chuffed with this, and I can't see how the other fella managed to bend it at all. He was clearly heavy handed with it.Overall, bloomin' marvellous!

Great product for money
By Francisco
Easy to transport and set up. More suitable for entrant level set ups. Adjustable height makes it adaptable to shooting in newer buildings with lower ceilings.

Great, but make sure you measure up before you buy it.
By Mr. R. N. Dixson
It's a good size for portraits of up to two to three people. I managed to get photos of a family group of seven (aged 7 to 22) and it was quite a squeeze and not easy to arrange informally. That said, if you read the description it's perfectly accurate and the frame is perfectly robust enough to support the backdrop. You need to arrange the tripods at their highest (not most stable) position if you have subjects approaching 6ft tall and the backdrop, then will only just reach to the ground. You may also need to iron the white backdrop if you want to avoid unneccessary "photoshopping". Despite what may appear to be critisisms of the size, it's surprising how big it is if you haven't got a dedicated site for it. All in all it does exactly what it's supposed to do (but read the description carefully and measure up before you buy) and it's very good value for money.

Superb little server
By Pete
This is probably the best network drive I have ever bought. It takes a while to get to grips with (a few weeks in my case) owing to the wide amount of different configurations available. I'm using this to store documents and backups from 3 different PC's so everything is in one place accessible by all. All my music, films and photo's are also on the 'multimedia' side of the Qnap which lets you view and play via the 'Twonky Media' server which is also inbuilt. Handy if you have a TV or iphone which can access the network. Downloading torrent files is so easy with it's own built in torrent service (QGet) which simply means once you have started the download you can switch off all other computers as this little baby has its own processor. I fitted a 2 TB drive to the Qnap so shouldn't run out of sapce for a very long time. The administration utility is a breeze to operate once you know how to find your way around and options for file management and accesiblity is quite outstanding. You can leave this running 24/7 because power output is a misley 7 to 10 watts.Bear in mind this is an all out 'Server'(if you want it to be) and not just merely another 'network drive' - think of it as a mini stand-alone PC. The Qnap really is an outstanding piece of kit for the price.

Fantastic product
By Andrew S. Griffin
I spent quite a while resaerching NAS products before settling on the QNAP that I ordered with a 2Tb drive. It is not the cheapest but the build quality is excellent. Installing the drive was simple and configuration easy.I am using it as a back up device for all the PCs at home, that it does well using the provided software, as well as a general data store for video and photos. One great thing is that I can see it across my WiFi network from my TV and Windows Smartphone and view images that way - I even downloaded a film to test the Torrent capabilities.I would thoroughly recommend QNAP to anybody considering a NAS solution.

Great NAS. Not using most of the features, but does the basics well.
By Jeff
Way better than the Buffalo unit it replaced. I needed something that could recover from a power outage (i.e., silly user pulling the wrong plug) for backups to a remote site over a VPN. This does. It's pretty quick with the traffic, user interface looks nice, works well and is much more responsive than my past experiences of Buffalo & WD network disks. Not cheap, but I'd recommend this over the lower-end brands every time now.

NAVI GON FINE FOR SPEEDING?
By Fransexluimi
The device is brilliant. Regular update is essential and it has proved helpful on the previous Navigon 8110 series device over the last 3 years. It has however proved difficult to interpret the written information supplied in the box with the website "handbook" information - being silent on some issues. Perhaps someone at the firm could inform the NAVIGON 70 suppliers what software was or was not already loaded on the device. The accompanying literature did not say so, as far as speed detection was concerned. The blurb offering discounted applications from the firm asked you to apply and pay for the Speed detection product as an extra - at an attractive discount ..and then when I offered to pay it to install it, their web site refused to accept payment! They could have said why (it was already loaded) but their automated computer said "NO"; it merely said "error" It's a case of very unclear instructions accompanying an excellent product! If only manufacturers got their act together...and told the client.Apart from such niggles which contact with the firm proved difficult over...at 10p/minute with a non response, we travel well and accurately hoping the device wont play up...

Awesome box of tricks
By smitad
I can't praise this NAS system highly enough. Set up with the web interface and some additional blank disks was simple to get RAID going and start copying files onto it. The administration interface is a delight to use and works flawlessly. I've gone on to make extensive use of the TwonkyMedia media server to stream music and video to my PS3 under the TV and that also works perfectly with minimal mucking about. I'm also using the CloudReplication service to copy the entire repository to Amazon S3 storage on a regular batch, that took about 5 minutes to set up and works a treat. Firmware updates upgrade with a click and they've all gone in without any issues. I should temper this a little by saying I've never used another NAS system at home but I work in technology and am familiar with enterprise level kit and this is just as good and much much cheaper.

Excellent Bank Bag River or Stillwater
By StevieMcl
This bag is very well made and put together and feels solid. Seems to be waterproof (has over cover to protect in heavy downpours). Plenty of pockets and compartments with robust zips. Elasticated cord on top to hold a couple of rods or rod and folding net. Excellent quality. Had looked at a few cheaper options but feel this was probably well worth the money.Would have no hesitation recommending to others.

Fly fishing bag
By Wizard
A very nice product with many good features. My criticisms would be that the internal mesh pockets are far too small to be of any practical value. Additionally the corners of the two front zipped pockets have their corners cut off - whilst this may look attractive, it detracts for the storage space. These two front pockets need to be double zipped, the single zips just do not work in my mind. To sum up a nice bag, many good features, especially the waterproof EVA base (pity it cannot be opened for additional storage space), slightly spoit by the poor inetrnal mesh pockets and lack of double zips on the front pockets.

A fishing bag you can bank on !
By John Barr
First "proper" fisihing bag I've had . . Great bag , quality made , tough materials and and lots of storage for all your needs, including bungies for rod tubes and net . Comfy to carry over the shoulder . A wee bit OTT with Wychwood logos but this is a very minor point . . the bag is excellent and at a great price. Highly recommended .
