I bought John's Phone for my technophobe, 71 year old father for Christmas 2011, and it does seem to do the job. It is, in other words, simple enough even for a Luddite. Dad loves it.It is easy to use, but set up, charging and turning it on and off are not fully self-explaining. Please RTFM and stick to the turning on and off procedure. Do not use the phone during the charging process: I do not know what happened, but I somehow managed to lock the SIM.Build quality is so so. The phone is lightweight, but not small: it's exactly the size of my Blackberry 9780.4 stars - it is not a 5 star product due to the comparatively poor build quality.

very simple for old codgers like me. easy to use, not hundreds of unwanted gizmos. some of the function buttons are a bit fiddly but on the whole a good purchase. company very prompt delivery.
