This item was ordered Wednesday evening & was delivered Friday AM, I consider this to be excellent service. The actual packing is very strong reinforced 15mm thick cardboard plus it's also foamed top & bottom, making it very difficult for it to become damaged during transit. This I beleive is why they charge high shipping costs for these items, you are getting proper protection from damage. We have run this machine & we consider it to be very quiet, normally excessive noise from other hoods is usually caused from the vibration of the chimney stack not being completely secured. We are pleased with the product & it looks even better "in the flesh" than their photographs, BUT,Premiere Range have inserted a very nasty "get out" claus into their guarantee so they can avoid any responsibillity, do not cut the attached plug off as they claim that it will invalidate their warranty. Because of this penny pinching & miserly atitude claus I only consider it to be worth just 4 stars & not 5

This appliance was delivered in good time and in good condition all as described by the Premier site.The motor is with its 3 settings quite powerful in effect. Noise at the higher settings may not suit everyone.We are quite pleased with the item .
