5Smart, warm and classic!
By Louise
I was nervous about ordering a coat online but this is an absolutely gorgeous and well made winter coat. The wool mix fabric is very warm and the design is very flattering. I'm a size 14 and ordered the XL which is a very comfortable fit. Delivery and packaging was good, so I am more than happy the recommend both seller and item.

5A Cracking Package Grommit

Although I am well-accustomed to writing product reviews on Amazon, I have to admit I balked at the prospect of writing one for Adobe Production Premium CS5.5. Mainly because there are just so very many features that no review of it will ever be complete. However the more I use it, the more I want to SHARE it with everyone.Bearing in mind I have upgraded from Macromedia Studio MX 2004, Adobe Photoshop Extended CS3, and Sony Movie Studio Platinum, to CS5.5 Production Premium, you can imagine that it is very much a quantum leap for me in terms of functionality and work-flow. Although Production Premium does not include Dreamweaver, my interests have moved from web authoring to video content since MX was the daddy, so Production is a much more suitable suite for me now.Compared to Production CS4 and earlier, in terms of functionality, CS5.5 adds the following features:- AFTER EFFECTS: Roto Brush tool, Refine Matte, AVC-Intra import, improved RED support, improvements and new plug-in tools for Mocha, Auto-keyframe mode, Apply Colour LUT effect, Align panel improvements, bundled Synthetic Aperture Color Finesse 3, bundled Digieffects FreeForm, Warp Stabiliser effect, Camera Lens Blur effect, source timecode support, improved stereoscopic 3D work-flow, light falloff, improvements to RAW work-flow, XDCAM EX support, and a whole bunch of other tweaks and improvements.- PREMIERE PRO: Mercury Playback Engine, improved native tapeless work-flows, "script-to-screen" work-flow path when used with Adobe Story and OnLocation, round-trip editing with Final Cut Pro and Avid Media Composer, various metadata features, CS Review for sharing dailies etc, revamped Adobe media Encoder, Ultra Key realtime HD footage chroma key, native support for DSLRs, integration with Encore DVD/Blu-Ray authoring suite, round-trip audio editing in Adobe Audition, closed captioning, improved speech analysis, and more.- PHOTOSHOP: New and awesome refine edges module, content-aware filling and healing, rebuilt HDR merge/tone features, new "bristled" paint brushes, puppet warp, lens distortion correction profiles, 3D repoussé extruder, many 3D enhancements, CS Review integration, improved interactions with Bridge 5, ability to use newer versions of Adobe Camera RAW, GPU acceleration, 64-bit and 32-bit versions supplied.- FLASH PRO: Share assets while authoring, copy/paste whole layers, scale content on stage resize, export as/convert to bitmap, code snippets panel, AIR for Android support, AIR 2.6 SDK, debug on-device via USB, new "Text Layout Framework", round-trip bitmap editing with Photoshop, new decorative drawing tools, physics in bone animations, XFL internal file format exchanges data with other Adobe applications, and a whole host of other tweaks and improvements.- ILLUSTRATOR: Perspective drawing grid tool, variable width strokes, dashed line alignment, defined stroke arrowheads, brush stretch controls, bristled brush tool, shape builder tool, round-trip editing with Flash Catalyst, and more.- ENTIRE SUITE: Adobe Audition (believe this replaces SoundBooth), Encore, Flash Catalyst, Bridge 5.5, Device Central, ExtendScript toolkit, Mocha for AE, Extension Manager 5.5, Pixel Bender Toolkit 2.6, and Media Encoder 5.5 are all included.Dynamic Link connects assets between different applications, for example you can link an After Effects composition as a sequence in Premiere Pro, without having to render an output file from AE first. You can take this further by opening the Premiere project in Encore and building a Blu-Ray from your project and linked AE assets... delay rendering right till the point where you're about to burn a disc!I actually found the new 3D Repoussé tool in Photoshop to be a little underwhelming, at least in terms of integration with After Effects, but as I said I have come from PS-CS3 so the rest of the upgrade more than makes up for it! Content aware fill has made my month. The Roto Brush and Warp Stabiliser tools in After Effects are two of the biggest time savers I have ever seen in a software package, and the metadata integration between Adobe Story, OnLocation, and Premiere Pro is an independent content creator's dream. Being able to round-trip audio from Premiere to Audition for cleaning, and then sending it back again, is also really quite nifty.Flash Professional I have only used so far for authoring a simple iPhone app. Taking advantage of ActionScript, and using the built-in animations and code snippets, makes it a breeze to create apps; much easier than learning object-oriented programming if you just want something simple. The exporter included with Flash also allows you to export your app to the Apple .ipa format along with all the correct metadata and icons bundled, which saves you from having to package up lots of resources yourself to make the application ready for Apple.Just a word of warning: you WON'T be buying a copy of Flash and then making your fortune developing apps with it; many of the most crucial APIs for platform-specific Apple integration are missing from the ActionScript reference, for example iAds and in-app purchasing.Another caution: you now MUST have an Apple Macbook Air/Pro, iMac, or Mac Mini in order to upload an app to the iTunes Connect service. The uploader on the Connect web site has been removed and apps can now only be added via the Application Uploader that ships with Xcode. You cannot upload an app from an iPhone, iPad, or PC.I am unlikely to use Illustrator or Flash Catalyst, but having them in the package means that should I need to do some quick vector-based web or screen work, I have the means to do it. Which is nice. For me, the package was worth the money for Photoshop, AE, and Premiere - the other programs are nice bonuses!CS5.5 has drawn some negative feedback regarding the Mercury Playback Engine (MPE) and its support for CUDA graphics cards. After going nuts trying to find reliable information on this I should probably share what I found: the MPE incorporates a software renderer which will work with any 64-bit computer regardless of whether the graphics card is CUDA-enabled. However, when one of a steadily-growing list of certified CUDA cards is present, MPE also uses hardware rendering to give a highly significant increase in rendering performance. This applies only to Premiere Pro rendering, NOT to After Effects. The list of certified CUDA cards is on the Adobe web site at [...]Unfortunately for Mac users, the list of certified CUDA cards that are also Mac-compatible is really quite skinny compared to the list for PC-compatible cards. At the time of writing there are just three, one of which is a retired line and the other two of which are horrifically expensive. So nothing new there then! Also note that on Mac OS, CUDA acceleration features require Mac OSX v10.6.3 or later. This release represents Adobe's big push to get most of its production software (a) 64-bit native, and (b) suitable for tapeless camera technologies, such as HD-DSLRs. The performance improvements from the 64-bit components such as AE, Photoshop, and Premiere are very noticeable indeed, and having presets and templates that I don't need to keep changing to match footage from a DSLR is one of those many little time savers that gives the whole experience a different kind of flavour. All in all I would say that if you need to take projects from inside the camera to screen or disc, with any kind of professional editing and/or compositing, this package represents great value for money. As I delve more deeply into the software I will return to update this review if I find anything of note, particularly anything that might be a problem for prospective buyers. I hope this has been useful for people considering an upgrade or a switch!

5Excellent camcorder
By Clivenick58
For the price and size i was very sceptical as to picture quality. I used it first time on a ship at night and i was well surprised at the quality of video footage from the time it was turned on. The ease of use is as good as you have 2 choices from the touch screen or press button. From having tapes and bulky camcorders to having something that fits in the pocket and HD as standard all i can say this is an excellent all round camcorder.

4Compact and easy to use
By G. Lewis
Great little hand held device. Very simple to use. Video quality excellent. The only drawback is there is no internal memory. Had to purchase two expensive SD cards which made the price less competitive. In hindsight, I would have gone for the next model up with the built-in memory.

4Nice Picture Quality
By N. Wallace
I bought this camera last year, so held off writing a review until I'd given it a decent amount of use.The picture quality is very good and looks nice and sharp on a 42" television. That goes for indoors as well. I don't see how some other folk can say that the picture quality is bad, unless they've not set the camera to film in full HD on a fine setting. I've had a bit of trouble with the autofocus at night, but then again, I've had that trouble with any camera with autofocus when trying to take footage of anything at night. Manual focus would be nice for this. The 40x zoom is great fun indeed and just right for capturing things like nature shots. I filled the screen with a shot of a woodpecker, which was about 200ft away. Again though, a manual option would be good, as sometimes it's a bit too fast. You can press the button gently to zoom slowly, but it can then suddenly whiz in or out at speed and ruin what you were aiming for.The still camera seems to be about 6MP and is quite grainy, especially with darker shots. Zooming in on something also causes grain which shouldn't happen with an optical zoom. The display and icons on the LCD screen are clear and easy to use, even by someone like me with bigger fingers. It's the same with the controls on the back which I have no trouble with. I tend to use both hands for extra stability even though the anti-shake smooths everything off.My only complaints with this camera are the lack of separate charger (as you have to charge the batteries whilst in the camera) and the price of the batteries. My old Hitachi camera came with a proper charger and a remote control. I could also buy suitable long life batteries for under £20, as any make worked with the camera. With JVC, you have to fork out £70-£90 for a separate charger with an equivalent JVC battery costing £60-£80! Any own brand battery works by plugging into the mains socket on the side of the camera itself, as JVC have fixed their cameras to only work with their batteries. (Much like how printer manufactures rig their printers to accept only official ink cartridges, until someone bypasses the security for the cheap ink makers.) These own brand batteries have mostly have bad reviews for reliability, so you're better sticking with the extortionate JVC ones.Next time I want a camcorder, I'll check out the prices for the batteries first. That's why this camera is only getting 4 stars.

5clever design
By Nigel
(Nigel's wife's review) Really pleased with this purchase. Bought the prune(cool colour), which is like a dark grey with a hint of eggplant undertone. The long cuffs are a great design, since it will accommodate different arm lengths. Nicely padded for warmth, yet it's not too bulky, as it hugs your body, due to the cut and ruching in the back waist. When fully zipped, it will block out the wind from the lower half of the face (where I get coldest, especially my nose). Nice quality, good stitching and duck down filling.

3Nice looking jacket but it smells of duck
By Gina R
Was so excited with this jacket, when it arrived it looks really nice i love it. It looks great on too. But having a duck down as filling i didn't imagine it will smell of duck too as i thought the down would've been thoroughly cleaned first before inserting it in a garment. Having a very sensitive sense of smell, i just couldn't stand it, its overpowering. It is also slightly bigger than my size too. I want to return it but i couldn't find the slip that came with it nor the packaging, it must have gone with the rubbish on Monday. Will try to make some calls today and hope for the best.

4Adobe CS5.5 Design Premium
By Martine
I have CS 5.5 installed for a week on my Mac now. I have Lion installed, and although there are some small problems left, I'm happy I've done the upgrade. Besides, the problems are known at Adobe, so I'm sure they are working on fixes already.I'm a graphic designer, so for me the most interesting programmes are Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. The great thing of Indesign CS5/CS5.5 (compared to CS4) are the possibilities for different page-sizes in one document and ofcourse the new features for new media (which makes the update from CS4 worth it). In CS5.5 you can set a story's order in the new Articles panel, which can be useful for a book or epub.Photoshop has content-aware filling now, which can be easy. But it's not a one step process.Without the new digital publication functions I probably wouldn't have done the upgrade. But because of them I decided to.I haven't tried all the new features yet, but for me it's a good upgrade.

I paid a lot of money for this motherboard which was damaged then I got a replacement which was just the same, so I bought a gigabyte motherboard which was great & the after-sales service went beyond the normal it was magnificent.

5Asus M5A88-M EVO
By dekatic
Had this mobo for enough time to give a reasonable test. Easy to install, in this case with FX6100 processor. Backplate feels a little flimsy but okay. Can see only one possible problem if fitting a very long and bulky graphics card, the SATA connectors may get in the way(I have a GTX650). As there are plenty of them it shouldn't be too much of a problem to rearrange. Other than that a quality mobo.Just one further piece of info, supposed to be able to update in windows using Asus update utility, seemed to be waiting ages to work and gave up, so downloaded latest bios update directly by flash drive okay.

5I love this software
By J Bakewell
Premiere Pro 5.5 is great. It's simple to use and does great things. I've not used any other professional editing software so I have nothing to compare this to. However, I have had no problems with this. It's a good product.

Hi allAfter alot of research i picked this board for my new build.I matched this up with a i5 2500k 3.3ghz cpu 8gb Corsair Vengeance ram and a gtx 570.first boot into the bios and wow nice bios easy to use and user friendly. The board was set at defalt out the box to auto overclock my cpu to a nice 4.3ghzThe TPU switch was on. After turning it off you can turn it down to stock 3.3ghz if you want.I used the XMP mode in bios and it all run's nice and fast. This board is a verry good board i picked this over the pro board as i did not see much difference. It's doing all i wanted from the pro board but was £10 cheaper.

A good board, easy to install with plenty of scope for expansion. However the pro version comes with extension brackets for usb3.I should have waited for the new version 3 boards which comes with PCIe 3.

1Ridiculous Sizing
By Margery Morgan
I ordered a large size which according to the size guide is supposed to be a UK size 16 to 18, expecting to be able to wear a winter jumper underneath the coat. No way. Even with just a t-shirt underneath the coat was way too tight and I would judge it to be more like a small size 14 than a 16-18. By contrast the sleeves were too long by about 2 inches and I don't have short arms. So not sure who this coat was sized to fit. Sent it back using Amazon's return service. I expected this to be free but it appears that postage of £7 plus VAT is being deducted from my refund adding insult to injury. I doubt that I will buy anymore clothes through Amazon.

5Bench Alexis Coat
By Sue
Once I had got the sizing right - Bench sizing seems very small in comparison with other manufacturers - then I have found the jacket to be exactly what I wanted. Warm, comfortable and with a hood that has no fur round it! Has been put to the test in both cold and rain - although with our thus far mild winter not in extremely cold conditions!

5Snuggly Coat
By Lirly2607
After much deliberation on which size to order and reading reviews and knowing that Bench seem to think that anyone above size 10 size is big, I ordered a large. This did irk my pride somewhat as recently having lost 3 stone I had been enjoying buying size 12's!! The large just fits ok, a medium would have been way too small, but I daren't put any weight back on! However, moaning aside, I love this coat! I originally thought it might be a bit too warm but I did buy it in the 'summer'. Although it isnt that cold yet I have been wearing it and am sure it will serve me well this winter. I love the thumb holes in the sleeves. I find gloves cumbersome and only wear them when freezing so this will be a real bonus to my cold hands. The sleeves are rather long (I'm 5'2'') but because of the thumbhole style this doesn't matter so much. The hood is a good size and keeps your head completely dry in the rain. The rain sits in little droplets on the outside of the coat and you can give it a shake and wipe and its dry again straight away. No having to put a wet coat back on if you're going out again. The wide elasticated bottom also hugs you so you feel really cosy. Roll on winter now I say!!

5Small and beautiful
By Mamamia
I love Samsonite suitcases. We have our last trolley cases for 15 years and were looking for replacement trolley cases that were allowed on board budget and mainstream airlines. These seemed to fit the bill. My husband was delighted when I brought them home and he has used his one immediately. He loved the number of the storage pockets at the front and the interior design. The cases look very stylish as well.
