Ironing was never so enjoyable!

This is a good, sturdy ironing board, exactly the quality one would expect from Brabantia. Bought specifically because I wanted a wide one on which to iron bedlinen, it has been a great success, allowing decent widths of fabric to be ironed at one time. The various height settings means any of the family (if only!) can use it in comfort, and, although it's a little heavier than my last board, it's only in proportion to its increased width. I'd happily recommend this to anyone.

Good quality psu, its more than adequate for my high end gaming computer build. It has plenty of connections and the wires are more than long enough for any size case. Also the lighting looks quite cool but can be turned off if that's not your sort of thing.

Very impressive to look at and for me probably way over the top for my PC. But hey I won't have to upgrade again.Comes with all the bells and whistles, every cable you could ever need.VERY IMPORTANTIf like me, you don't need the full 12volt cable connection to your board, or as in my case the board couldn't accommodate the connector, if you look very closely at the connector it splits in half thus allowing one half to connect to your board. I think you'll find it online in the product info but this was not evident on the instructions that came with it.Great quality.

After previously having purchased another media player (Traxdata cyclone) and being extremely dissappointed with just about everything about it, I did some more research and came across these LaCie's. After having used it for a few days I am pretty sure this has to be one of the best media players you can get.Best features:- They are very quiet!- The menus are terrific. Not cheap, tacky looking menus. They are very classy and won't embarrass you when you have friends round (like alot of cheaper brands do. There are some really terrible menus out there).- File support has been 100% so far. I have dowloaded 1080ps trailers from youtube which are in mp4 format and it plays them perfectly - fast forwarding, resuming - no problem at all. Some older flv files were also taken care of easily.- Navigation menu through movies is also superb. Good usability states that you should get the user from where he is to where he is going - in the fewest number of clicks. And this is exactly what this product does with its skip to time index feature. Excellent.I did not come across any heat issues as mentioned in other reviews. The operating temperature seems completely normal to me. There were alot of negative reviews which almost put me off. But I have a strong feeling these where probably faulty products. I am very glad I bought this and would definitely recommend.

AMD recommened, a must for any AMD Gaming rig

I bought this to replace my old Corsair CX430 which was struggling with my recent graphics upgrade (ATi HD5770 1GB), it made an insatnt improvment in demanding games like crysis where before it would become very choppy and freeze, it runs smooth and I can even overclock the GPU now.why to buy Corsair PSU's:There are many many options out there any many many are cheaper than this, but for good reason: a lot of cheap psu's ie CiT claim say 600watts however they do not offer anywhere near that figure on the 12v rail and shell out most to Voltages that are not really used resulting in powever starved cpu and gpu ect, corsair not only give power where it counts they send it down a single 12v rail for maximum power to all components.Pro's:80% certified (a must for a cool efficient pc)runs very QuietRuns CoolIt floods the inside of the pc case with cool bluesingle 12V rail with 56Amps!2 pci express cable's for high end GPU'sActive power correction for clean reliable power and a super stable pc even when under stress.3 year warrantythe list could go on.Con's:None really......Unless your to cheap to buy quality .

Excellent Power Supply

I needed to replace the old Power Supply as I'd be doing some work abroad and it wasn't switchable so I tried one of these and must say that I'm impressed.Like the power supply it replaced it is in the same colour which matches my case perfectly and also has the cool LED lights. What I really like about this power supply is the LED lights can be turned off or on so if you find them distracting they do not have to be on.The PSU has 6 Molex connectors and 6 SATA connectors as well as 2 PCI connectors and the older floppy connector. Everything is wrapped up in a neat little package which includes a kettle lead, manual and a neat little badge/sticker to put on your computer to tell the world what your PC is powered by.All 5 hard drives, DVDRW, Video card and 4 cooling fans are powered without any issue with this unit. The PSU is very weighty in feel which instills confidence in the quality of the thing.

Im not a computer expert, but this is amazing....

I recently bought a Dedicated Graphics card (Asus EAH 6770)and it recommended a 600W power supply, I looked around for the cheapest models of PSU I could find and was inches off placing the order for a CiT 600W which was around 20pound, LUCKY I DIDN'T. After reading multiple reviews I started to realise it wasn't reliable, so I looked around and found a very reliable company (corsair). It took me about 10 minutes to install and i'm 17, their are plenty of cables so it will connect with everything you need, they are all protected with a case, and fill perfectly, the blue LED lighting inside the case was very entertaining and looks very good at night.As I have said before I'm not a computer genius, I know an average amount about it, but i know that this power supply is truly amazing and worth every single penny, its quieter than my xbox 360 slim and works very well.No negative points so far except if you have a MicroATX case, you will need check that you can close the lid of the case with all the wires connected... it took me a few minutes to rearrange wires but I got it to fit with a lot of air room still. :)

Overall very happy with my purchase

I'm not going to go in to great technical detail on the XOOM as there are other great reviews on here that will do that. I just want to help the non-techies decide if this tablet is worth buying.I got the XOOM wifi model from the carphone warehouse a few weeks ago for £250 and it has turned out to be a great buy. I'd like to say I spent weeks agonising over the choices but I didn't. I had originally bought an Arnova 10 G2 which was very good for the £140 price tag apart from the facts that; the screen was just impossible to view from any other angle than front on; the back left was VERY hot after an hours use. So totally useless for myself and daughter to play Angry Birds on or watch Charlie and Lola on!!CPW 'gracially' allowed an exchange after the few days I had owned it and it was a choice between XOOM and IPAD2. There are plenty of cheaper smaller screen models as well as IPAD size/price models but the XOOM at half the price of the IPAD was very attractive.I've owned a Macbook for a number of years, so I'm familiar with Apple as opposed to just being anti-Apple. Whilst Apple tend to very easy on the eye and have very good products overall, they are restrictive in what they will allow to run on their systems. Also they have decided to go for the ' I must have the latest and I am willing to pay for it' share of the market so they are almost always the most expensive and not always the best value for money.Anyway I decided to get the XOOM on; its price; the fact that it had a clear, large, responsive screen, viewable from several angles; it appeared to have enough hardware to make it useful (dual core, 1gb ddr2, 32gb flash disk)So here's my plus-minus list for what it's worth:-Plus1. Came with Android Honeycomb 3.2 and working SD card slot2. Wireless is 802.11n3. Good clear screen viewable from several angles and responsive to the touch4. Bluetooth5. USB connector to hook up to a PC6. Genuine android marketplace so shed loads of free apps to choose from7. 5MP camera and HD video recording8. Good styling and solid feel to it9. Extremely good battery lifeAll in all a very usable deviceMinus1. Cannot connect a USB device such as hard disk or flash drive but I believe a firmware fix is in the pipeline2. Heavy-ish but not unpleasant to hold, however could also be said to just feel solid3. HD video sometimes stutters when recording but I think that is due to other running applications4. SD card can only be written to when connected to PC however it is very usable at 32GB max. for storing movies, etc. and I believe there is a firmware fix for this in the pipelineSome issues but then doesn't everthing!With regards to accessories:-1. The motorola gel cover fits very well and protects the back of the device2. Screen protectors: get one that is designed for this model and get several (see my other reviews)3. I found the Motorola case to be good for protection but useless as a stand so I bought a seperate case and seperate stand (see my other reviews)4. Motorola dock is good for one position stand with power supply and headphone socket, but prevent access to the USB and Mini HDMI connectors so a real drawback if you ask me. The Motorola speaker dock has the same issues as well as apparently having poor speakersI hope this brain dump has been useful to someone!

Using the Xoom

Very impressed with the Xoom it has changed my surfing habits, I mostly use the Xoom for Internet research instead of my workstation. It's a bit heavy in the hand, but the battery life makes up for that, it seems to go on and on and on. While on holiday in Europe this year I used a Navigation App to do all my overland navigation, the built-in GPS gets a fix really quickly and again the battery life meant I could complete a long route without needing to charge up. The built-in camera is sensitive in low light albeit a bit grainy and switching between front and back camera's is great for video chat's. The Android app market seems to be chock full of interesting stuff and so far I've not had many bothersome compatibility issues between the Xoom Android version and apps designed for mobiles. Occasionally some apps don't respond to rotating the screen properly or just can't make use of the larger screen over a mobile phone.I've had the web browser crash a couple of times on websites with email clients built in, but the Xoom itself has never crashed, if an app crashes it tells you and Android cleans up the mess. The on-screen keyboard ought to have some way of changing it to give you a more personalised input method, it has .com as a shortcut, why not give the option to change that and others to .co.uk or whatever locale type is appropriate.Handling to start with is a little tricky, you have to avoid touching too far in to the screen when swapping hands so as not to fire off an app or in one instance I managed to accidentally click an instant buy button for some personal item when swapping hands!The hardware itself has a quality feel about it over and above others I have fondled in high street stores, but is slightly heavy when using it for prolonged periods. Using the 3G function when not near a hotspot is great but sometimes orientation can have a big influence on signal strength. I suspect this is going to be a problem in all these kinds of tablets just like the iPhone signal problem, the antenna is crammed into the case out of sight and warm moist hands are going to affect the mobile signal. Speed is no problem the processor seems to be capable of handing everything I've chucked at it including watching videos without stuttering which is more than can be said of others types I've tried in-store.Overall I'm very happy with the Xoom, it's a bit pricey but I feel you get what you pay for with this kit.

A good start but it's not there yet

I have been using the Motorola Xoom for 2 weeks so I will share my experience so far. The tablet build is very good - it's heavy (hard to hold with one hand for long) and solid. The screen is gorgeous and Android 3.0 looks beautiful. The battery can easily give you 8-10 hours and charges up quickly.Now for the bad part - it's not a finished product. I have been using Android phones for the last 3 years and their browser is very fast and stable. That's not the case with the Xoom - the browser is slower and it crashes often closing all your tabs. The tablet standby function often doesn't work and the tablet drains battery even if not in use.Hopefully Motorola will release a firmware update soon with fixes for all of those frustrating issues. I will update my review when that happens. Until then I would recommend this tablet only to the most geeky guys like me who are willing to work with beta software.UPDATE 16/05: Android 3.1 update is available and it does fix most of the issues. The browser is faster and I haven't experienced crash since the update. However most sites still show mobile phone sized version and there is no setting for user-agent in the browser.

Simple and Effective

I needed this range finder for hunting purposes but didn't really want to have to pay super high amount for the privilege. This is perfect. It is very simple to use. Comes with a brilliant case and lanyard. It can find distances very easily and gives good accurate readings.

PERFECT....for rifle shooters.

The two reasons I decided to spend the money were......Firstly to see precisely how the accuracy of my rifle (.22lr) changed with distance.I set targets at 30, 50, 75 (zero), 100 and 125 yards, and noted the allowances I needed to make on my mil-dot scope (e.g. with the scope zero at 75yds, at 100 yds I needed to aim one mildot higher).Now when I am up a high-seat I can use the rangefinder to find exact distance of target, or make note of reference point distances in case I dont have time to get exact range. Takes the guess work out of accurate shooting.Couldnt recommend it enough for this - very simple to use and gives quick readings....Secondly to educate myself. When out walking or in a high seat (when I have plenty of time to kill), I will judge distance by eye and then use the range finder to check. Even in the short time I have had the Hawke my estimations have improved significantly.So if this is what you have in mind - buy it. Brilliant little product and quite reasonable when you look at how much these things go up to. I am also comfortable I would be OK to use with larger calibers as reads out to 600 yards.ONE NEGATIVE...The loop holding the carry case onto my belt broke while I was walking. This is probably just a faulty unit which I am sure the company will replace. If I encounter the same issue again I will put another review.

I bought the range finder to take away the guess work when hunting with my air rifle.Since my purchase I have used it to zero my sights at the air gun club and then in thefield for pest control. It is a great piece of kit and great value for the price.

For pet owners

I've just bought this after months of struggling to clean up after my pet. It had a few bad reviews on line because it's too noisy and heavy. Yes it's noisy, and probably heavier than most vacuums, but I would think the average person would be able to handle it reasonably easily, even for cleaning on the stairs. This is a very powerful cleaner, but I am so impressed with the results. My carpets have never been so clean, and the accessories are really great for hard-to-reach areas. I cannot rate this highly enough especially at such a reasonable price.

I have long, narrow feet and bought these on the strength of another reviewer, who said they were slim fitting. She was right, they fit well, my feet don't slide around in them like lots of footwear in this type of style AND they are really pretty. It's hard to find pretty, flat sandals for summer that actually fit well. These are perfect.

Nice looking watch, with good independant reviews on internet.Strap length good, well packaged, would have liked a nicer box, however for the money no problem. In direct overhead light can be difficult to read.
