I must admit that this machine is one of the best players if not the best player on the market, having filled it to the max with cool stuff I'd like to watch on my television I've never had a problem and give the device 95/100.The only negative thing I can say about the machine is that I wish it was a bigger hard drive for all my stuff. at the price it's on for sale it's an absolute bargain

Cyclone Primus 2TB Media PlayerThis is an absolutely essential piece of hardware, essential in any home.Easy to use and reliable, provides simple playback of movies, HD and standard.I now have 5 of them, and my kids have one in each of their bedrooms.Once you rip all your DVD's to the 2 Tb HDD. watching programs is a doddle.I highly recommend this item, which represents very good value for money combined with high quality audio and video images.

Magic Box.

Some reviews (smaller drives) give this product one star but don't be put off by this negative feedback, this is a magic machine. It plays my music files (FLAC, APE) and any movie format I throw at it. It's a good place to store or back up your photos too. Easy file transfer from PC. OK, if all tracks from a CD are loaded separately then you have to scroll down the menu and select each track individually - same with split VOB files but I can live with that. The menu is simple and straightforward and the unit is light enough to move from room to room. Yes everything is driven from the remote and yes it could stop working but if this happens then the cost of a new enclosure won't break the bank. If you want more flexibility then buy something more sophisticated; for me it does everything I want at a bargain price.

Great Tool for Motorcycle Adventure Travel

We used one of these tools on our recent round the world motorcycle trip and itperformed so well it exceeded all our expectations. Apart from having all the tools needed for those 'On the go' maintenance tasks it also helps around the campsite and motel room. The precision of the Swisstool Spirit Plus means it doesnt get jammed up with debris and muck and always performs in the way it was designed, fautlesly. The Hex Tool and bits are surprisingly very strong and it makes the tool very easy to personalise to your specific needs. We used the Hex Tool for tightening, removing and replacing the motorcycles plastic covers and adjusting levers and handlebar controls etc. It was also very useful for the litle hard to get to service points. The additional benefit of the leather pouch means that when you need the tool quickly you can grab it knowing that everything you expect to be there is there. Although we never tried to hang the tool off a belt which it will do of course, you may find it heavy. Around the home it will serve you just as well and can be personalised to suit. In our opinion we have found the tool to be the best of all the others we have tried over the years and expect to get many years of reliable service from it. If you only buy one multi tool buy this one.

I absolutely love this watch and i wear it every day! Lovely and slim compared to some other watches i have seen on the market and personally i don't like to wear a big face. It's lovely looking and i now have a date which is a massive help. This was the cheapest i found this watch anywhere. Would definitely recommend!!!

Really expensive looking watch, an absolute bargain in the watch sale. Watch faces are usually too large for my wrist but this is perfect and really clear to see. The bracelet is much more shiny than in the photo but thats not a negative. I couldn't be happier with it.

Abus padlock.

Expensive but well worth it in this day and age.Coupled with the Abus square link chain this is hopefully a good deterrent to stop some ne`er do well wheeling your pride and joy off.Get a long enough chain so you can fasten your bike to something solid and unmovable.It`s heavy so I fasten it around my rack,but a purpose made bag fastened somewhere on my bike may be a quicker and simpler way of carrying it.Came with two keys,one of which had an inbuilt led light.

The watch in excellent. The crystals sparkle very nicely and the plating seems good. Only issue you will have is getting links taken out for it to fit. Maybe Amazon could start a scheme with a chain of jewellers. Well worth the money.

Impressive all-rounder

I bought this recorder principally for radio interview work. Previously I had been using a Zoom H2 which was fine, but I occasionally had some card corruption issues and the microphone arrangements, although versatile, were not always condusive to straight one-to-one interviews in noisy conditions. Also the display on the Zoom H2 is not really very clear.So I turned to the Tascam and I have not been disappointed. It's smaller, but the display is clear and you can adjust the amount of time the backlight is on display. You soon learn to grip it firmly when using it 'hand-held'. Any movement of the fingers is picked up by the mics. However, to be fair this is common in all devices of this type. I feel that the microphones are a bit 'exposed'. A foam wind-muff would not have added much to the price and afforded a little protection. I purchased a suitable one for £4 from a High street retailer. Unfortunately the mic can only be used in the 'crossed' position using this. More versatile 'dead cat' wind muffs are available on the internet specifically for this device. There is no need to pay the outrageous price of a Tascam brand one.My first outing was to a local agricultural show where I recorded a school 'dixie' band playing in the open air. When I played this back through the hi-fi I was astounded by the result (MP3 320kps). It was a 'studio-like' performance. Far better than I imagined.Can't wait to try some other live performances. As an interview mic, it's fine. I agree the speaker output is rather low, but it is sufficient to confirm that you have a recording. Ok using earphones.Amongst other things I like is the intuative menu set-up. Easy to remember and work your way through. The 'quick' option button ensures easy access to functions that you may need in a particular mode. The play-back button is similarly useful once you have learned to scan through the various files. A simple piece of software to interface on your computer would have been useful. Some other manufacturers provide this, but non-the-less running the files on a PC is no problem with the lead provided. There are a lot of facilities to be found on the Tascam that are not available on more expensive products from other manufacturers. A comprehensive manual is provided, in fact there are several 123 page booklets in various languages. No need for inconvenient pdf downloads, although there is one available.Delivery was with-in 24 hours as claimed. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Great for home recording

I bought this recorder to record myself practicing my Northumbrian Smallpipes so that I could hear how well I'm playing. With only a small amount of fiddling to get the right levels set, I found that I could record myself and get pretty decent results ([...] if you really care!). Much more satisfactory than using the mic attached to my computer, and handily portable for those times when my wife encourages me to practice my pipes in the garage.

Easy to use and produces impressive results

I use this to record rehearsals for two bands, one acoustic country and blues and one louder rock one. Even quite low resolution mp3s come out with good definition of the bass end and very clear recordings generally. Very easy to use and a good manual which I only had to read once, skimming over most of it. The only bit I haven't used so far is the overdub function but I'd do that on on the computer usually. The batteries seem to last a long time too. The menus aren't too deep and it doesn't take long to find your way around. Remembering to press record twice took a while to get used to and the thing is a bit plasticky but the recordings so far are very high quality and miles better than the iPhone we were using before.

Looked at similar products from North Face, Berghaus, RAB & found the Minim to best suit my needs. Not excessive insulation & I use it on the mountain bike when a very cold day & it gives great windchill protection while allowing the arms to ventilate. As you or the conditions warm up then packs away into v.small size. Versatility allows use for walking the dogs or hill trekking as part of a layering system. Very good product.

Purchased to match the magenta kettle and toaster which I already own, this coffee maker certainly did not disappoint. It is sturdy and well made plus quick and simple to operate and clean. Plus, it looks the business!It makes a lovely cup of coffee - just don't expect it to cater for a dinner party. I reckon the jug will provide at most 4 smallish cups of coffee - for me it is more like two and a half mugs worth. However this more than suits my requirement, which is coffee over breakfast; anything larger would be surplus to requirement.

Fit of bracelet

The watch is excellent but the two rigid sections of the bracelet do not hinge in far enough for a good fit on a narrow wrist. Accurist's claim to offer a free bracelet adjustment service is somewhat hollow considering there is a £10 fee for the return and handling - this represents something like 20% of the sale price of the watch. I was able to do it myself but guidelines in the booklet would be useful to some-one not familiar with the procedure.

The watch is quite attractive but the cost of adjusting the bracelet is horrendous.However the jeweller I took it to did the adjustment free.The cost via Accurist would have been £15 or more. The adjustment is very easy as the links are connected with push out rods and take only seconds to take out by any jeweller (or if you try you might be able to do it yourself)On the whole I am satisfied, just hope my wife likes it. Filter coffee in minutes

Bought this item in yellow to go with the newly painted yellow kitchen! This is brilliant for making filter coffee in minutes. Just pour in the amount of water (by the cup) you want, add the coffee (you don't need a paper filter although you can use one), flick the switch and within minutes you have your coffee! You can warm your cups on the top of it as well. Really pleased and use it regularly.

A Great Watch

This was a Christmas present from my wife (prompted by me) and I think it is a great watch. It looks better than in the picture - the green bezel is a bit darker and nicely complements the black and white face. It was a little larger than I had expected (although not too heavy) but as I'm getting older and sometimes find the need for glasses the slightly larger dial makes it much easier to read without them. The strap is easy to adjust to make it smaller (I had to remove a link) and if you need to have extra links added there is a UK return address provided in the enclosed booklet to send the watch, which will be adjusted for the cost of a £5 return postage fee. The strap has the normal outer safety clasp and the Z clasp is secured by a simple button mechanism that is released by squeezing in two side buttons, effective and simple to lock and release, no more broken finger nails as nearly happens on my Tag Heuer watch. The booklet I had doesn't actually refer to this model and a separate leaflet was enclosed but that too didn't describe how to use the tachymeter function (not to be confused with tachometer); it can be used to calculate a speed based on the travel time but there are a number of YouTube videos that show how simply it works. I like the fact that there is a three year warranty, many more expensive watches have only two years. As usual Amazon sent the item in record time on their free super saver and it was packaged securely.

Accurist Watch

Ordered this item for a Xmas Present for myself off the wife. Had a couple of Accurist watches in past and always been solid built and good looking. This one is no exception. Not as heavy as I thought it would be but it still retains its solid built feel. Good Accurist Clasp mechanism and easy to adjust to fit your wrist, but lucky I didnt need any links removing. Looks more expensive than it is and @ a huge discount from the reatial price of £200 ( I paid just £54) its an absolute steal.

Works well - for about a year.

If you are lucky this machine will fail just before the guarantee expires, if you are unlucky it will fail just after. There is a design fault in these units that Kenwood refuse to acknowledge - just see how many 'manufacturer refurbished' units are available on ebay. My first machine failed after 11 months (sprang a leak all over the worktop), the second has just failed after 13 months in exactly the same way. Real shame - it is a nice machine otherwise.

Keepin' it simple

I love proper coffee but what I don't like is the taste of it after it has been sitting for n hour. With this coffee maker there is no chance of that as it's only a couple of mugs big. Saying that, it's more than ample for a nice brew for 2 people. It's so simple to use, no buttons to set. Just put a filter in (it comes with a plastic one but I prefer a paper one) measure your water and coffee and switch on. It's really quick so you're not hanging about waiting. Great machine, simple and easy to use.
