Be careful you are buying what you think

There is no doubt, these switches are stunning in appearance but beware you are buying what you think, as the description currently does not clearly explain what this item is and what else you need. I ordered one by mistake, not fully understanding what it was and had to send it back.Firstly, this item cannot be used by itself, it is only of use when paired with the RTS2040 (i.e. no "W" on the end) or the 1-gang, 2-way version of the same switch. This switch is wireless, which means it does not have connections into which you can put electrical wires. If you buy it expecting to replace an existing 2-gang, 2-way socket - you will be disappointed.This switch is powered solely by a long-life battery, which is supplied. The other switch on your circuit has to be a RTS2040 or the 1-gang, 2-way version of the same switch. Once you have the main switched wired in, you can actually hold this one in your hand to operate the light if you wish. But the idea is that you cut a hole in your wall, insert a 35mm back box and attach this switch in with the 2 screws. It will then "look" like a normally wired switch, except it is not physically connected. The switch operates by a RF signal picked up by the proper wired switch mentioned above.This switch is ideal for giving you another method of switching on lights in a room where you either cannot or do not wish to go to the trouble of laying new wiring down the walls.I hope this helps explain a little more about what you are ordering and what else you need to get it working.I have also reviewed the RTS2040 which is the proper wired version of this switch.
