Grill and Griddle is great!

I have had this grill for about four weeks now. I am very impressed. The main features are that it is extremely easy to clean, the plates come off and on very easily and turn over from grill to griddle without any effort. It cooks all sorts of food very easily, and steaks, burgers, paninis come out very well, with very little mess. It is very well made and comes with a five year guarantee.I am amending this today (September 2012) because after over a year of ownership, would you believe it, I am on my third machine! I had to return the first after a few months because the central switch went faulty and would not work on the panini setting. The second machine also lasted a few months and the same fault occurred. I bought one for friends for Xmas last and there's developed the same fault after 10 months. I have return it again this time to Cuisinard as it is out of suppliers warranty, but there is obviously a manufacturing fault with the switches. I have rated down from a five to three.

Fantastic Grill

I have been an avid user of other griddles in the past but was always fed up of how much of a pain it was to clean them. Then I bought the cuisinart griddle, it now could not be easier, finish cooking wait for it to cool down, un clip the grills and put them in the dishwasher. My frying pan hasn't been out of the cupboard since I bought it which is a lot healthier and with the choice of flat or ribbed plates I do Gammon on one side and cook the egg on the other. All in all best thing I have bought for the kitchen in years

I would recommend this gill,very sturdy and well thought out design,like the aspect of the plates Which just clip off for easy cleaning, always had George Forman grills but found this much better ,also you have temperature control . There is a fat collection draw which slides out the side of grill which is far better than the tray in front of grill, I was impressed with the cost of the griddle,compared with other grills on the market. Also because of temperature control your food is cooked to perfection ,truly converted by this grill.
