Great Product, Works Well. For Those Who Don't Want To Fanny About
By Dom
There are quite a few motherboard bundles out there, but this was certainly the best value for money when I bought it.The system ran perfectly right out of the box, and has been set so that the CPU only runs up to 4.4GHz when it needs to, which saves power and money. I didn't realise this at first, but a quick email to the sellers gave me prompt answers to all my questions. The kit was well packaged and I had no problems installing it into my Antec 902 case. The CPU fan is rather.. *ahem*... massive, but is oriented correctly with the case fans for smooth airflow. The two RAM chips are good quality, and there's still room for another two, so you can have up to four 4Gb chips in total - great for future upgrades. All in all, this was a great buy, and as I said in the title it's perfect for those of us who need raw power, but don't want to fanny about. Highly recommended.

I feel a bit conned, really
By W. Davis
The bundle of components itself is great. This memory, motherboard and processor work extremely well together. However, I regret opting for an overclocked bundle. The price mark-up is ridiculous, especially given the fact they didn't perform the overclock properly.I did some research online and discovered this Asus motherboard does sometimes present difficulties with overclocking. Even a small overclock done wrong (and in many cases done correctly) causes the motherboard to reset the computer at stock settings.I fixed this with some BIOS tweaks. I also found the memory wasn't set up correctly. (For memory: In BIOS, set DRAM speed to DDR3-1600. Set DRAM voltage to 1.65 and ensure timings are 9-9-9-24)Other settings had to be tweaked but I eventually gave up on the overclock completely and decided to use the BIOS turbo mode to 'auto overclock the cpu to 3.7Ghz' If certain settings weren't on Auto (such as PLL overvoltage) the system would hang.Customer service did email me once saying they'd forwarded my concerns but I never heard back from tech support. Gist is, if you're paying someone to overclock for you, you want it to work out of the box, because if you're going to be doing it yourself then you needn't have paid for it anyway.Price wise, even if you count the 'overclock fee' in the price, you can still get the hardware much cheaper elsewhere and it's not hard to attach the CPU, cooler and RAM. Since I do not know what thermal material ADMI use, this gives you the chance to buy your own.The motherboard is Asus and many gamers agree they make the most reliable motherboards out there. It is Micro-ATX form factor so it won't have enough expansion slots for two graphics cards AND a sound card. The processor is slightly outdated by today's standards due to the 3rd Gen. Ivy Bridge but it's still a stellar choice. The cooler itself is really good. It's huge, quiet, unless you're going at full pelt in which case it isn't so quiet. The memory is by Corsair and they make some of the best RAM on the market. Can't go wrong.

Great

Everything nicely matched, heatsink mounted. Lazy way to do it but puting the Heatsink on can be a real pain. Recommended. A very nice Motherboard, tri slot (but can only take 2 dual slot GPUs)
