Most excellent shoe
By tappers
Having been a fan of vivobarefoot trainers for some time I wanted a shoe in the same style that would be suitable for work. I found that having got used to the thin flat sole of the trainers, healed shoes felt slightly alien. These shoes fit the bill perfectly, they are smart enough, though undoubtedly odd looking until you get used to them. The front of the shoe is quite wide to allow for the natural spread of the toes and the lack of a heel does distinguish them from the norm. However they are incredibly light and comfortable. The thin sole does allow you to feel more of the surface you are walking on which adds a new dimension to traversing cobbles etc. I don't hesitate to recommend these shoes.

Possibly the most comfortable shoes ever.....
By eliboo
Having decided to go over to zero-drop 'barefoot' style shoes completely I was slightly stuck as to what shoes I could wear to work. When these arrived they did look slightly like "special shoes' (no offence meant in any way) because they have quite a wide toe box (area for toes to spread out.) However, as soon as I put them on it was as if my toes said thank you. There is so much room for my toes yet the shoe feels like the right size. They fit perfectly. The above was a year ago. I have worn them pretty much everyday for a year and am still pleased with them. My only concerns are that they tend to show water marks quite easily and the black piping cover (where the leather meets the sole) has started coming off which looks a little cheap.I am so pleased with them that I have now ordered a pair in dark brown. I have also recommended the Vivobarefoot to my wife, and parents in law and they all find the zero drop very comfortable (zero drop is where the whole foot is at the same level rather than the heel being raised up by a thick sole at the back.

Comfortable, durable, innocuous
By omphalos
They last a long time, the anti-microbial lining appears to work and keeps the shoes fresh, and the flexibility is superb. I've had a pair for about 6 months, and I've worn them most days, and they have worn surprisingly well.
