Product Description
These special aluminium bodied GU10 LED Bulbs use 3 special Super-bright LED's to emit the same equivalent of light as a regular 50w - 60w Halogen bulb. The GU10 bulbs use only 9w of energy saving you £100s each year and will very rarely need replacing as they have a 50,000hr long life. The bulbs emit 480 lumens and are fitted with CREE TECHNOLOGY LED chips which are currently the best LED chips on the market. The item is DAY WHITE (5000k - 6000k) and passes all UK safety regulations. As with all LEDER products these bulbs are manufactured to the highest possible standards and include a one year manufacturers warranty.

Brightest yet

I have tried various GU10 LEDs as replacements for conventional halogens and these are the brightest yet. As ever, the claim made is that they repalce 50w halogens and although I would not go quite that far, these live up to that claim far better than lesser LEDs (I have seen this claim made for 4w LEDs, which is absurd). They have the great advantage of being the same size as a normal halogen, which makes like for like replacement easier. Wherher they will last the tens of thousands of hours claimed for such bulbs remains to be seen, but so far, despite the cost, they look as if at long last there really is a credible LED replacement for halogens.
