3Nozzle not as shown in picture
By jbods
As a previous reviewer says, this is not a light bit of kit, and tends to develop a life of its own as you swing it around due to gyroscopic precession. The instructions tell you to hold it 2-handed on its side if you find the weight and controllability a problem. Sounds reasonable - until you notice that the round nozzle shown in the picture is missing. Instead there is a "flat sweep tube" nozzle that, when put on its side, is vertical and thus does not blow the leaves very well. Apparently "they are all being delivered like that" and "you can always leave off the flattened nozzle, using the first round segment only". This would mean the tube is half-length. The round nozzle shown is available for purchase separately from other suppliers. To be fair, the "Box Contains" list is correct - its just the picture that is wrong. Avoid it you think you will need to use it 2-handed. Disappointing, as otherwise it is a fine bit of kit.

5Lovely bit of kit
By Jonno
Fed up with poorly starting two stokes that scream wildly whilst pouring out tons of blue smoke! This blower starts easily, uses very little oil and does the job. If I have one niggle, it is that being right handed, the blower is naturally is held on the right side of my body and the air intake sucks the machine onto my leg. No problem to hold with two hands or operate with the left but purchasers should be aware. So easy to use, even my teenage daughter could start it and blow the leaves around. So much fun I even got some help in the garden for once! A bit heavy, but but well built and if the weight is an issue, get one that sits on your back. Get a small bottle (1 litre) of 10W-30 oil as mine had been drained of oil before arrival. It appears to have been run 'to check correct working' before delivery so no oil in the sump. Overall, very pleased with my purchase. Feels like it will run and run for years.

5Brilliant Makita
By Michael
Just received this blower. Did a bit of research on the net, decided to buy as I was fed up with my Flymo electric blower / vac which didnt blow very well. All I can say this petrol Makita is well made, powerful and easy to start. Highly recommended.
