I bought the ODYS Xtreme 8 inch Touchscreen Internet Tablet (1 GHz Samsung Processor, 512 MB DDRII, Android 2.2, Wifi, HDMI, USB 2.0) - Black. The Amazon service and delivery were as usual quick and efficient. This was my first experience of an Android tablet, and it took me some time to realise the differences between this operating system and my home PC, but I soon got to grips with it. I bought many games from the app market and was delighted with the many addictive games on offer. I then purchased some ebooks and found that the ones that I purchased through Google, could only be read while I had an internet connection running. I then purchased ebooks from Kobo (WH Smith) which, after being downloaded, could be read offline. I then found that I could not read them until I installed the Kobo app. This turned out to be difficult as I could not find this app online for this tablet. I contacted Odys Axia who were extremely helpful and emailed the necessary app, which I installed into the tablet. This solved the problem and I was impressed by the after sales service and courtesy from Odys. In summary I am delighted with this product, as it is compact and easy to take with me when holidaying, and is extremely versatile and well made. Well worth the money.
