Optishot Golf Simulator

I purchased this a few months ago from Amazon after testing this at the UK Optishot venue at the Lee Westwood Academy and must say it's brilliant. I play off a handicap of 15 and wanted to improve my game & stop going out down the driving range midweek. I spent all summer on an outdoor building project to house this to try and get the full potential of this unit. I must admit after all the hard work now it is all up and running it is an utterly brilliant piece of kit, however to get the best out of it you need to spend quite a lot of money. Firstly the PC you use needs really 3GB of RAM minimum and at least a 3ghz processor (a dual core or core i3 is better, however it does run fine on a P4) & a decent graphics card with at least 512MB of in built memory & open GL is a must. Lighting is vital on this product and 4watt white LED GU10 over the mat works brilliantly, normal lighting affects miss reads on the sensor. I have also mounted my Optishot launch pad into a full size driving range mat again works really well. My walls are all covered in black fabric as well as the roof and the image is projected onto an impact screen via a projector. It hosts a driving range and 11 great courses and the reading from this are brilliant, the other thing that seems to work better are the almost golf balls you can buy on Amazon, they are superior to the ones that come with this unit and only £10 a pack. I had some technical questions after I purchased this and contacted Dancin Dogg in the states for help & their customer service matched their product, brilliant very helpful and replied within a few hours.Great Product and worth every penny.

good simulator, great overall

The opti shot is really good for its price. Its a really good simulator, and definitely accurate enough to help you with your game. Also its great fun with friends. Its important to set it up right, with the right lighting and to adjust the settings to suit your clubs. Overall I'd thoroughly recommend getting one if you've got the space.

I was given one of these Eagle Creek cargo bags as a young man by my step dad - and being the usual sullen, ungrateful twenty something at the time my initial thoughts were: 'A bag? Why on earth would I want with a bag?'However, it soon turned out to be indispensable and I ended up absolutely loving it!The bag itself claims to be bomb proof - now I've never tested that claim and I very much doubt that its true - but they are pretty sturdy. In fact they're so sturdy Eagle Creek are willing to put their money where their mouth is and offer you a lifetime guarantee - more on that later.The bag I have is the perfect size for light travel and weekends away, with plenty of room to fit, say, about a weeks worth of clothes in the main compartment. It's not too big and not too small, but just the right size. It also has a side pocket on the, er... side.The 2 main handles have a leather grip that fastens together with 2 poppers and there's a shoulder strap too. Best of all though, there's 2 compression straps running across the top of the bag so you can pack the bag and really squeeze everything down nice and tightly to a minimum size, making the bag nice and compact.The shoulder strap can be passed under the compression straps too, so the bag can be slung over your shoulder more in the style of the old, long, tubular, military kit bags. The zipper has 2 zips so that closing the bag is easy even when its tough, and all in all I'm very satisfied with it. The zippers two are thick and sturdy. There's no way these are going to break.15 years on I still have a use my bag and I still love everything about it. Its size, its look, its practicality - Its just as shame it developed a mystery hole. To this day I still have no idea when or why it happened. Even so, I still thoroughly recommend this product. 'But if it developed a hole, why recommend it?!' I hear you say. A faith which I now share 100%, and that is why I'd recommend an Eagle Creek duffel bag or cargo bag to anyone anywhere. Especially is they're looking for a bag to last them a lifetime. 10/10 or A+. And if you can think of any other ways to give something top marks or say 'amazing', that works for me too.*NOTE* The bag I have is exactly the same as this model but it was a few sizes up. However, I doubt that makes any difference though.

Really nice set! I love them! A little smaller than I expected but perfect for what I wanted! The cutlery is a good shape and weight and are lasting well! A bit of a pain that they cannot go in the dishwasher but that was expected!

This is a top notch technical pack, great ergonomic design and very high quality. I bought this pack for travel in the hot Australian summer, the aeroflex system keeps the pack away from your back allowing greater comfort and airflow to keep you cool. The shoulder straps are fully adjustable so this pack can be made to fit most people between 5ft to 7ft tall.Definitely the most comfortable pack I've ever had for carrying over 20 pounds of gear and supplies, it comes with a rain cover and a handy compass/thermometer/whistle. It is hydration pack compatible but there is no hydro pack included. Aside from the main compartment there are two large pockets in the lid, 2 small pockets on the hip belt and 3 stretch pockets on the outside of the pack (some packs have way too many pockets). It's not too bulky for everyday use and still big enough for a week of camping and hiking.

A little 'neater' than my same size Nike trainers. If re-ordering, I'd choose another half size bigger. The open mesh top was unexpected (didn't spot it in the illustration) and I prefer the plain, fabric panel as on the Nike ones. Otherwise, ok and pretty well priced. As always in my experience, Amazon delivered in record time.

New Balance 860 - Very good pair of shoes for flat-footed runners

I purchased New Balance 860 recently since I'm flat-footed. I have been running for almost 5 months now and I had started developing muscle catch and spasm at my lower limbs. However, after I have started using this pair of shoes, it's been perfectly fine. Landing is extremely light and balanced while running with NB 860. I would say this is a very good purchase for the price that Amazon offers.

Bought this item as a Christmas present. Have to say although happy with the item I was disappointed with no instuctions of the item. It would have been helpful if a discription was in the set ie: the make of the product and dishwasher instructions. I feel it really made the item look cheap with no slip of paper indicating where it was from etc.
