I already own a pair of these in black from last year's range - these are just as good. Very comfy and easy to wear, but they are pricey! (I bought mine to wear to a Scottish summer wedding but I do hope I don't have to wear them.......)

Silky Smooth and Slick

My very old four-times-oversampling CD player had finally died, so this was the one I chose to replace it. Previously, some modern CD players had sounded quite strained and rough compared to the original Philips machines, so I was hoping that this choice would be sound. It was a sound choice. A wide variety of music types needed to be catered for and the Marantz proved capable of delivering the goods. The sound is clean, pur and accirate, but not tinny or over-corrected. The displays can be turned off when playing to absolutely maximise sound quality, which is an excellent idea. We play classical and pop music from the beginnings of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons to Paloma Faith, and all are absolutely fine. No fuss, no problems, just a well made, slickly operating and acoustically satisfying experience.

A well designed but functional light. Installation could not be simpler as it comes with the plug already attached. Watch out when you are unpacking it. The little sucker which you will need to change the light bulbs was loose in the box and I later had to retrieve it from the bin!

Finally cooking is a pleasure

Fed up with cooking in the wind and rain, we found this porch was available for our tent. It isn't too easy to put up, but once up it does provide a good sheltered place to put up a table with a couple of burners on it and now we don't dread getting up in the morning to put on the kettle or consider eating out in the evening rather than fighting the elements cooking a spag bol. Next time we buy a tent we will make sure such a porch is either included or is available as an extra and buy it at the same time. We hope this one will save us a lot of money in restaurant bills!

Just bought this for our new Oakland XL tent which we plan to use in the autumn, and tried it out for the 1st time this weekend....a VERY windy and wet weekend in the Borders, but it stood up to the howling gales brilliantly...invaluable to cook under, kept all our muddy boots etc dry and free from the inner tent...can't wait to use it again!

Oakland XL side extension

Well I had been wanting one for a while but they were too expensive then you sent me a post about one for sale cheaply, so we bought it! We took it camping 3rd Aug 2012! Easy enough to work out how to put up but struggled to attach to tent as stated! We ended up being creative and managed but not as shown on instructions. It did stay up though! At first I thought it looked small, i had it in my head it was bigger BUT WOW what an asset!!!!! The table, kitchen stand, water bottle and crate of cooking items went in there so all was out of tent! We did all our cooking in there, keeping dry when it rained and no condensation in tent! We brewed up in there so again no condensation in the tent! My husband who smokes used it as a smoking room so no smelly tent!!!!!!!! When we got back to the tent we could strip our wet clothes and shoes off and leave them there so no messy grass and mud in tent so it kept clean! Wow! Everyone should have one of these! Brilliant! Just need to work out how to really attach it to the tent without improvising! Happy Camping! x

Brilliant baby monitor!

We already had one of these monitors and bought another one for our newest arrival as we were so impressed with the sound and picture quality. I love that you can pan the camera and zoom to 'find' your baby once they start moving around more!The only issue we've had is that it's on the same frequency as our wireless network, so we can't go online wirelessly when the monitors are switched on - well, we can, but it's painfully slow to use the internet.
