Very well made solid bulb

I purchased just 1 of these bulbs as a trial (at £11.99 per bulb I didnt want to jump in and purchase a lot) I was so impressed with the light output and colour (I had warm white) I then had another 10 which brought the price down to £10.00 each which is a big outlay but I should never have to change a bulb again and they only use 4 Watts of electricity as opposed to the 50 Watt of the standard bulb so will pay for themselves over a period of time with the reduction in electric I would be using and the fact I don't have to keep changing a bulb every 3 weeks!

Good dimmable LED - but not wildly "warm"

Have bought loads of different GU 10s and these are the best so far for dimming at a low price. Not very warm colour but I mix these with halogens so am not to bothered. Not sure on longevity of the bulb yet. Pretty bright compared to some LEDs.

Love it so much

This is a gorgeous play mat. It's really thick and padded unlike most mats which are paper thin. Great if your floors are not carpeted (we have wooden floors)The hangers are lovely soft Moomins, the centre one having a mirror in it. There is also a mirror and a squeaky toy attached to the mat.Can not praise it enough, used for both my children and they both loved it

Great Bulbs

Got these dimming LEDs to replace some dimming CFLs in the kitchen, as we were fed up with the long CFL warm up time. These LEDs are excellent & are far more like a halogen bulb than the CFLs. They have a crisp warm light, very much like a halogen, but with an even better beam width. They dim very well too, going to from 100% to about 30%. We have a fairly new Varilight low load dimmer switch that has a minimum load of 10w & the bulbs work perfectly with it with no flicker, but I couldn't say how well the dimming would work with other dimmer switches.

Ok! - taken the Plung and heres my 50 Cents.!

The LG Optimus 2x P990 HD Smart-Phone is the business, why? well it was down to 3 handsets, this (1)+ 'then' the HTC Sensation, which is my 2nd Fav, then the 1st Fav, "was" the Samsung Galaxy SII, (And its possibly the best on the market but my budget would not stretch another Extra £150 for the Samsung Galaxy SII at a whooping £489 at time of this review. Nevertheless Im very happy with the: "LG Optimus 2x P990" deffo best value for the money, and cash speaks oodles especially I think the present price is a bargain. (Tho, Im not allowed to mention price in review). rules.Anyways, this Phone has the new nVidia Tegra 2 CPU/GPU all in one tiny piece of wonderful hardware which give sit not only 2x Dual Core RAW 1GHz Processing power, but extraordinary Graphics power that is good for very impressive sharp, clean and detailed Hi Def Hi-Contrast screen, especially Once you Zoom in you can see everything which is Beautiful I must say, I've read a few decent reviews before my Purchase and the (Tegra x2) pulled me in I must say together with the wonderful Build Quality LG are re-known for, and they have thrown in everything at this particular Phone and the kitchen sink too.I am very happy indeed with my purchase and would thoroughly recommend this smart-phone to anyone, providing the current price dose stay low, because of the competition, I did NOT buy mine on Amazon UK this time because it was cheaper elsewhere, but now Amazon UK are the cheapest for this Smart-Phone. No Bugs, seems a pleasure to use, 1500Mah Battery which does last the full day. needing charged at night time consider that if you use the phone a lot. Main selling point ATM: Price compare to similar Hi Spec dual core competition, this one has it all.+Plus forgot to mention brilliant HD Camera which works even indoors in decent light. Great phone for the price

For the low price this Android phone is great and works really well. An upgrade to Android 2.3 is supposedly on the way, but 2.2 is pretty good. The camera flash is not so great and tends to bleach pictures. Battery life is not bad, but no worse than other dual core smartphones. mp3 playback is good. Video recording is quite good too. Overall for the price it is a great phone. Due to its dual core cpu the phone is fast. Connectivity works well: wi-fi, usb etc. Signal good. LG bundled social apps are not as good as official ones: Twitter, Facebook. But there is a MySpace app and as yet there is not an official on for Android. 3rd party ROMS can also run on this phone and maybe it will see Android 4 ICS. Be warned that LG have stated that they will not support Android 4 on this phone.

LG Optimus 2X smartphone

I bought this phone just a month ago and just can't put it down. Totally addictive! The screen is superb and very responsive, super fast operation, lovely tactile feel to the phone in the hand, weight and size just perfect. Does just about everything one could wish for and more and an absolute bargain at less than £300. Needs a nice leather pouch to protect it and I got one for a fiver. Needs charging every day, maybe even more if it's constantly being used like mine but don't they all? Highly recommended.

Amazing Piece of Technology

Just received the new iMac this morning and already im in love , seriously i want this thing to have my babies !. Having used a PC most of my life its kind of a big step to change OS. I was running Vista on a 22 inch TFT along with a couple of Adobe products Dreamweaver , Photoshop etc which are essential as I use these everyday so I wanted to run these PC applications from Mac OS as the software is expensive so with Parallels you can run multiple virtual OS through your MAC and you cannot tell the difference also you can run the OS in Coherence mode which integrates both Windows and MAC into the same desktop , the Vista installation took about 10 minutes and all that was needed was the CD Key and thats it. So if you need access to MS applications don't worry its all possible.Back to this iMac 27" demon , the first thing you will notice is the size of the screen and the LED quality and smooth finish , seriously the engineering and product quality is at its finest and compare it to my old dusty ATX case its un-comparable and to think I have been using a PC for all these years is crazy. The whole iMac has one wire , yes just one wire and thats the power ATX cable the keyboard is small , compact and the new Apple smart mouse is also wireless and very smooth , they come with rechargeable batteries so you might need to buy the apple battery charger but the OS will tell you when they are getting low.I have just installed VLC , Google Chrome Browser and Audion which all took a couple of minutes to do and to think it not possible to get a virus or trojan is definitely the future. a few things you might want to know if your a PC user is that you can plug in any NTFS or FAT32 USB Device and it will automatically appear on the MAC Desktop , I think on some of the older iMac you needed additional software but on this iMAC everything is compatible , secure and very fast.The built in speakers are amazing quality , which is something you would expect with Apple products , I was going to purchase some additional speakers but you really don't need them with this iMAC.You may be tempted to save a £££ and get the 21" iMAC but i would recommend getting the 27" the thing is huge but already after a few hours im getting use the size of the monitor as while im typing this review out I have about 3-4 windows open and visible something which wasn't really possible on a 22" monitor. I have been trying to think of any negative points but seriously after taking this thing out of the box everything is what I expected and much more.If your thinking of upgrading , then buy a iMAC. Before I purchased this I thought it was cheaper to build a new custom PC with same size screen with the same processor , graphics card , monitor etc and I could of saved £200-£300 or maybe more but with the build quality , specification and usability of Snow leopard OS , the Gorgeous LED Backlit 27" screen , compatibility and much more I have to say I doubt I would ever go back to a PC or Microsoft OS.

Wow, wow wow

I've been a windows user since Windows 3.0 back in the early 90s and have been looking at a Mac for about a year. I've waited until the 2011 refresh to get this stunning 27" model.Wow - it's just so much better than Windows.. Even for the same spec Windows machine - Mac OSX is just the best.Expensive yes.. but Macs do contain a certain amount of value in them if you need to sell them.I did think the 27" screen would be too big and thought for ages about getting the 21.5" model, but I'm glad I chose the bigger screen.

I took delivery of my shiny new iMac last week and am very pleased to be back in the macintosh family, after a few years in the 'wilderness'. At first I thought I had overdone it by buying the big 27" screen, but after a couple of days I realised if I'd bought a smaller one, I would only have lusted after it's big brother. The speed at start up and overall performance are typical mac. Fast and smooth. The quality of build, design and performance can only be described as superb. I only have one glitch which is a little annoying. The wireless mouse tends to be a bit 'over sensitive' shall we say. It enlarges the page without asking and the only way I've managed to get it back to normal is to re-load the page and start again. This keeps the rating at 4*. Has anyone else had this problem? Using Skype is a dream. The picture and sound quality are excellent which is important to us out here in the Spanish countryside. I did have to work out how to use the built in camera on Skype, but in the end I fixed it in Skype preferences. If anyone else has the same problem, select 'Start video automatically at the beginning of a call' in the 'Calls' sub-menu, and Bob's your uncle, up it comes! So for now, it's so far, so good. This is my 4th iMac and the biggest and best of them all. I shall be studying the manual to make sure I get the best out of it. PS Thanks Amazon for a good deal and prompt delivery out here in the Spanish sticks!
