Great Piece of Product Design!

Just got this watch and love it already! I was already a fan of the watch's designer, Dieter Rams, one of the 20th Century's top product designers. Everything about the watch smacks of good design - simplicity, ergonomics and quality of finish. If there is a slight downside it might be argued that the date window is a little on the small side; certainly it's one of the smallest I've encountered but, having said that, it fits in well with the look of the watch face. I would rate it alongside the Swiss Railway Watch as an iconic timepiece. If you're wavering about buying it I would just say 'go ahead you'll not regret it' and at Amazon's price of just over £60 with free postage it's a real bargain.

Good Value

The printer is great for the price you're paying. For around £80 and you get a copier and a scanner. From this perspective, it's good value. Running costs are apparently higher than its competitor but for home and lower volume usage, 5p a sheet is not gong to break the bank compared to say 3 or 4p per sheet.It's actually very quiet. I'm not sure why some reviewers are complaining. At work, we have some very expensive laser printers and they aren't exactly quieter.The printer only has usb connector. Again, for this price it's what you expect.I don't think anyone will be disappointed if buying it for basic home use.For this price, it deserves a 5 out of 5. There aren't many printers cheaper with this spec.

Brother Printer

This has been a great buy having struggled with an ancient laser printer that kept running out of memory. This nifty machine does everything except make the tea! Great for scanning and copying. Printing of envelopes is a little tricky since it involves fiddling with the back of the machine. Otherwise it is brilliant.

Form and function in synchrony

I love the simple styling of this watch. It matches the pared down functionality of this model, which looks a bit like a smart office wall clock that's been miniaturised.Despite the simplicity, I think a lot of care has gone into the design. The face is highly legible, even in very dark conditions. The second hand is coloured light brown to make it slightly fainter than the two other hands against the black background. The strap is mounted to the base of the watch rather than the sides so as not to disrupt the perfect circle of the body (though this could make it difficult to replace the strap).It's comfortable to wear and has kept good time (not a second lost or gained) in the week I've had it.The only slight niggle is that the loop on the strap that's meant to keep the free end tidy could be a bit tighter so that it stays in place.

Neat all-rounder

I am very pleased with the Brother DCP-7065DN mono multifunction printer.In particular, I appreciate the following features:- small size;- network ready;- fast start-up from sleep mode;- a range of useful photocopying functions, including auto paper-feed and enlarge/reduce;- scanning from any network computer: set up the scan document(s) on the printer, then control the scanning process from your computer.Having already got a relatively high-spec networked colour laser-printer (Xerox Phaser 8560DX), I wanted a second network printer (where mono would suffice) for our busy home-schooling household, and one which would incorporate scanning and photocopying. The Brother DCP-7065DN has more than met our needs and expectations.Years ago I worked in a busy office where photocopiers were very large and expensive to run. I was pleasantly surprised, therefore, to find one that is small and affordable yet with all the key functions of a full-sized photocopier.Undoubtedly there will be other printers with similar features. All I can say is that I am very happy with this model.

First "Proper" watch

This is my first "proper" watch. I hated wearing a watch before, I found them uncomfortable and would take them off without knowing (I've lost a few!) this one has 3 things going for it:1) It looks awesome, It follows Dieter Rams Design Principles of "Less, but better", principles I share which makes it even more pleasurable to watch.2) Its very confortable to wear, leather feels great and its light enough you can forget you are wearing.3) Price, I bought it for £160 here (It has gone up slightly now) despite the low price I can tell this watch is going to last me for a very long time.

Very nice watch, great customer service

Very nice watch, very light weight, great fit and finish. Clean styling and easy to use. I was a bit worried it may be too large for my 6.25" wrists, but it fits great on the 3rd-to-smallest hole on the strap, and doesn't look too large at all.A testament to Amazon's customer service; I was originally sent the 3 hand movement version rather than the chronograph version on accident, and upon emailing I received a reply within a couple hours, and the correct one was dispatched the same day. Great service, highly recommend.

does the job and looks quirky

I wasnt sure about buying this product as I thought it was very expensive for a dish drainer but am happy with it now I have it. When it came out of the box I thought it looked more like a foot spa than a dish drainer but it really does do a great job and I had lots of interest in in when I had a party over Christmas, which you dont get with a normal dish drainer! Just remember to empty it often because it fills up with stinky water quite quickly. My only negative would be that its quite difficult to clean between all the spikes. Overall it has lived up to its promises, and I would buy it again.

Simply the best dish drier there is!

The Magis Dish Doctor is a really great product! I can't remember how I found my first one, but the whole family agrees that we can't accept any other dish drier now - we've been spoiled. I bought this one for my daughter; we still have the first one. One thing which may affect your decision is that the base needs to be emptied of water frequently (but it's very simple). It's the best for drying anything - cutlery, glasses, crockery, pans, even big knives (lay them sharp end down along the side & they are kept safe, supported by the pins). Forget about dishes falling about, tall glasses not fitting in, too much space for plates and not enough for pans - also forget about cutlery compartments which are not attached and thus fall over!). This is an excellent design.

Braun Ladies? Watch

Although I'm a man in his 60s I bought this model of Braun watch recently, as elsewhere it's described as Petit (not Ladies). I think that's a much better description. I have what I would describe as a slim to average sized wrist and it fits perfectly with about 3/4 of an inch of extra strap length available. That's not to say, of course, that it isn't entirely suitable as a women's timepiece, simply that men oughtn't to be put off by the title as advertised. Having said that there is a slightly larger model (with a date window) which would be more suitable for some.I was mainly attracted to the watch by its stylish and uncluttered design. This is not surprising as it's part of the Braun range designed by Dieter Rams (one of whose well-known admirers is Sir Jonathan Ive - designer of the Apple iMac, iPhone and iPod etc).It comes in an unfussy black and clear plastic presentation case - very much in keeping with the watch design.In the short time I've had the watch its timekeeping can't be faulted. I set it originally by a radio-controlled clock and six days later it hasn't lost or gained a second.All in all I can thoroughly recommend the watch and it has already drawn admiring comments from a couple of my friends.
