Brilliant boots - comfort assured

Had this pair for nearly five years now. Best worn with another boot so that they can be alternated as I don't want to be caught without them if they fail as I need them all the time. But will definitely buy again. I just hope that Timberland still make this model before they fall to dust!

Very Nice Monitor

I was looking for one of the cheaper 24" monitors so it was a toss up between this one and an LG and an Acer 24". What finally swung my decision was the VAT back offer that Samsung luckily were running at the time meaning this monitor cost me ~£100 in the end. Plus the fact that it also had a DVI socket at the back.In terms of what you get I have no real complaints. The monitor looks stylish with a good build. In terms of the screen quality its bright crisp and bold. I actually downgraded from a large 27" iiyama prolite which is a good quality monitor but have to say contrast and colours are more vibrant on this Samsung model.Small niggles similar to other reviewers:- no angle or height adjustment. If this is important to you then don't get this monitor unless you can position it on a surface of exactly the correct height- silly Samsung Magic Angle which fails to compensate for lack of angle optionsI have still given this monitor 5 stars as the picture quality is excellent. The niggles are to be expected with something at this price and really dont effect my setup at home. I can recommend this item.Oh and just to give these comments some perspective, I am in the IT profession although working from home now and have seen plenty of monitors of varying qualities throughout the years. This screen represents good value for money without compromising in graphics quality.

Mine HAS physical angle adjustment via stand

I just wanted to add that mine (LS24A300BS/EN from the back of the monitor) does have a comprehensive tilt function. Perhaps I've assembled the monitor/stand differently from others writing here, whether that be correctly or incorrectly. Or perhaps we're comparing different models.Personally, I can't fault this monitor for the price and I use it for writing software at work all day, everyday.

Mixed feelings and a bit of "..you get what you pay for"

I know my title might be a little misleading, as the monitor ain't that bad, its a cheap and cheerful piece of gear that gets the job done. I bought one for a client and thought "hhmm" like this!! i might order one my self.Anyway my review:Good points:looks fantastic, very slim, great for the space conscious, price is decent, colours are ok, it does need a little tweaking to get the right look in terms of colours and brightness etc as I don't want to tire my eyes out.Comes with a VGA cable, would of preferred DVI as well, but hey!! LOL!!Bad points:A very annoying menu system, though I love the touch panel (no buttons) thing that Samsung do with all their TV's and new monitors the actual OSD that comes up is a little quirky because the actual sensors are under the monitor not on the front and in the dark (or not so well lit rooms) you cant see the labels on the bottom right of the bezel to know which buttons are which to control it.Because of this you have to use the Blue on/off light to kinda guide you to it.It will need a some type of stand or table to sit on as the viewing angles are really bad (well for my posture anyway), and that so called "magic angle" is a load of crap!! it seems to just change the colour of the screen....that said it does tilt a little bit.. ;)Edit: btw it takes long to come back from standby mode!Overall:If you don't mind a little fiddling from time to time its an OK monitor, and you wont regret buying it.

Good Quality For The Price

A good quality simple bracelet. The charms are nice and small and fit well with proportion of the chain. It could do with more charms than just three hence why i only rated it 4/5. I am gonna take it to the jewellers to add more charms to it. I would never though buy it for the full price as its a bit too steep for the amount of charms you get on it.
