Product Description
ASUS is proud to introduce the new ASUS ENGTX550 Ti DC to all our users.
Using the unique ASUS DirectCU Cooler the airflow is doubled and the
noise level is greatly reduced by using flattened copper heat pipes
which directly contact the GPU core to speed up heat dissipation for a
20%* cooler performance compared to reference. Keeping the card
temperatures low also results in quieter operations thanks to reduced
fan speeds!
The card also boasts Super Alloy Power which can create a 15%
performance increase, 2.5 longer product life span and a 35 C cooler
operation. In addition to this, the engine clock runs at a Pre
Overclocked 910MHz, allowing users to enjoy high speed and an
unprecedented gaming experience. Super Alloy Power is a special blend of
elements formed using an ASUS exclusive formula, under extreme pressure
and temperatures. The metals are highly-magnetic, heat-resistant and
anti-corrosive used to reduce power loss, enhance durability and achieve
cooler operation.
Super Hybrid Engine is an intelligent power consumption optimizer that
switches between high- and low-intensity power profiles in real-time.
This in turn can provide up to 15% improved performance.
With exclusive Voltage Tweak technology also being a key feature of this
product, the ENGTX550 Ti DC/2DI/1GD5 covers users for every possible
over-clocking and over-volting scenario. With the complete package
offered by this card users can easily boost their performance by up to
50%!

Great upgrade
By Racing Junkie
I got this card as an upgrade from my 9800gtx+.Firstly its way more silent than my old card. There is a serious difference on how My games are played. The most resource hungry game I own is NFS "The Run" .With the 9800gtx it was stop and go at minimum settings. Now I can have everything at high and its flawless. The card was an easy install and I would advise a driver update straight away. The card is slightly overclocked but not as much as the Gigabyte version.I would recommend this card to anyone as its not huge money but (For me at least) its a huge performance boost.Note--The card runs at a very low temp' and also uses less power.Hope this helps someone.Happy gaming.

GTX 550 TI
By James Colton
This is the first graphics card I've ever bought and I must say that I'm very impressed. It arrived promptly and well packaged with everything intact.I was surprised at how big the card was, so having enough space is very important! Runs very quietly and driver downloads and installation was very easy. Hardest part of it for me was making enough space in the case for it to fit!Having just installed it, I have only tested Starcraft 2 - which I can now play on 'Ultra' settings with no loss in performance. Now to buy some new games.

ASUS nVIDIA GTX550 ti graphics card...AWSOME!!!
By Steven Roulson
Simply put this gfx card is superb.I last bought a gfx card some years ago now, This one must be 4 or 5 times more capable than my old ASUS V8200. I have used a BFG 9600 [I think it was] wich is AGP 8x and all that. This is waaaaay above that!See my other reviews for the rest of my hardware I bought along with this, xmas 2011 purchases.I am playing COD4:WM on this with maxed out settings, on my 42" plasma tv at full 1080p resolution... If you haven't upgraded in a few years then you will NOT be disappointed.
