These special aluminium bodied GU10 LED Bulbs use 3 special Super-bright LED's to emit the same equivalent of light as a regular 50w Halogen bulb. The GU10 bulbs use only 3w of energy saving you £100s each year and will very rarely need replacing as they have a 50,000hr long life. The bulbs emit 280 lumens making them an ideal bulb to replace old 50w halogen bulbs. These bulbs are dimmable making them safe to use with dimmer switches and they are also standard sized meaning they will fit all types of fittings. The item is DAY WHITE (5000k - 6000k) and passes all UK safety regulations. The bulbs are a perfect size match for standard halogens. I have used compact dimmable fluorescents before which have been rather bulky. The light emitted is good and the dimming is as you would expect. Only small issue is a slight flicker at certain points when dimming,
