The mattress has deep quilted edges to hold the traditional fillings in place. The mattress has double sided covers so there is no need to turn, with a durable stitch bond cover made with traditional fillings. The divan base is made from solid timber to provide a comfortable, sturdy, sleeping platform. This wasn't bad considering it's cheapness, ideal for my guests, not sure that I would describe this mattress as orthopaedic, not that firm but is comfortable.
