Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH2K 14-140mm Lens Kit

Stunning HD Video on a full HD screen as well as HD ready. Great compact size for what it does and very pleased with the stills. Great combination to use for a holiday no longer need to take two cameras. Recently bought the F1.7 pancake lens which is great for multi-use as well as taking great night time pics. I have never used a camera as much as this - its such good fun.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH2K Digital Camera with 14-140mm Lens Kit - BlackThis is a superb camera that fills my needs for video as well as stills photography. Until now I have used a Panasonic camcorder for video and a mixture of DSLR and compact cameras for normal photographs. I wanted a camera that would provide the best possible video capability. I have briefly used conventional DSLRs which require the 'live view' function for video. They are far too clunky, with very poor focus capability in the 'live view' mode, and any lens adjustments sounds are picked up by the inbuilt mike. The 14-140mm Panasonic lens is specifically built to overcome this problem, and the focus is very fast. The availability of a high-quality electronic viewfinder, plus the fold-out screen (touch-sensitive) for shots at high and low angles, are features that I find invaluable.No doubt in my mind that this is the leader in the field at the moment, and it has the added bonus of being reasonably light to carry.Finally, superb delivery service from Amazon.

I read a lot of reviews before I bought the camera because spending this sort of money you want it to be right for you, It had been a long while since I have used an SLR camera but it soon comes back to you, having to zoom in and out by twisting the lens and on this camera it feels good, Its a well made product everthing clicks and moves nice and easy, The 16m pixel makes fantastic quality photos very crisp lines and details even when you zoom in on the pictures, I have had video camera's before and the quality of film from this is second to none, This a good camera for the beginner or someone with a bit more knowledge and wants to do more with their photos, The only down side at the moment is that you can't get hold of a spare Panasonic battery so if your going out for a long days shoot you could run out of power and think of the space you will need to keep all of your photos and movies with 16m pixels and high quality film it takes a lot of space, I would recommend this camera and if you can afford the 14-140mm lens go for it.
