The Hillwalker GTX is a hiking boot ideally suited to British terrain. The hills and valleys that make up the British outdoors are the perfect environment for these comfortable and durable boots. The primary functions of the Hillwalker GTX is to provide long term comfort, ease the stresses and strains after long walks and hikes, and be tough enough to put up with the conditions it faces. As a result, BRASHER have designed a boot to deal with all of the above. Lined with GORE-TEX Extended Comfort Footwear, these boots offer supreme comfort. With lateral support, weight reduction and underfoot conditioning in this classic leather boot there is an understanding that these will be worn over long periods of time, and as a result, have been engineered to stay comfortable throughout. The brasher rubber sole unit comes with a shock absorbing EVA midsole. Any bumps, roots or hard ground underfoot is taken care of and the cushioning means that little of the impact is felt. This is a boot perfect for coastal walks and forest trails. If you do want to go a little further then the boot is AO crampon capable. Where the ground starts to worsen but isn't too challenging; so soft terrain, defined paths and gradual inclines, are where this boot feels most at home.

Outstandingly good

I bought a pair of this same boot two years ago. They were superb boots and excellent value for money. Unfortunately, the fox walked off with one of my boots one night so I had to purchase a second pair. As before, the new ones are extremely comfortable (from the moment you put them on), do the job they are made for and - I think - look really good. If you want comfortable boots for walking that do the job, keep your feet warm and dry, look good, and are great value for money you won't need anything else but a pair of these.

These boots are; Comfy, light, nice looking, durable, waterproof, stable, strong and best of all good value for money.I would recommend these over anything if you are looking for an excellent pair of everyday hill walking boots.
