Remarkable - great product!

Bought this for aging parent who grows wonderful tomato's with a passion but cant digest pips & skins. I'm told it took an hour to assemble! but once up and running its perfect. Suction grip works great on laminate type worktops. Construction is robust (weighs 2.5kg! - its bigger than you think), nothing to snap or work loose. Look up on youtube to see in action.Does exactly what you expect; separates juice/pulp from pips/skins. You need to push the residue through twice for best effect. VERY easy to work, no fiddly bits to jam, doesnt give up or get blocked even after a sink full of tomato's. Should have got it years ago but wasnt on UK market. Parents are delighted.Money well spent although it's a touch pricey. Saves hours and hours; previously peeled & de-seeded tomato's by hand, taking ages and tricky cos the best flavoured toms are tiny or odd shapes.UPDATE: I Still think it's excellent. Dead easy to set up, but you MUST put the tomato pulp through 3 or 4 times to get everything but the pips & skins without any waste. This sounds compicated but its dead easy. Great bit of kit even if you only use it a couple of times a year.

Good tool

I have used it to puree apples that were really past their sell-by date & it did a wonderful job with little mess. I did need to soften them by part cooking first as it says in the instructions. I hope that it will do a similar job on tomatoes in the summer
