Brabantia Ironing Board

I am 69 years old and have had the same old ironing board for 30 years! I decided I needed to treat myself - if you can call ironing a 'treat' - to a new one. After looking through all those available on Amazon I decided on the Brabantia Ironing Board with Solid Steam Iron rest. You could tell how old my previous board was because there were at least four different covers, each laid on top of the other! It wasn't until I received my new Brabantia board that I realised how much that even ironing board technoloigy has changed in 30 years. The new board is light, springy and a delight to use. The only criticism I would have is that it doesn't go down quite low enough for me, as I like to do my ironing whilst sitting down. The steam iron rest is also very efficient and stable.
