does what it says on the tin!!

Looked at purchasing this item from amazon but managed to get it from currys cheaper. Anyway once this arrived I took it out of the box, plugged it in and,... nothing, would not connect to my netgear router. I followed the instructions correctly but it still would not connect. I reverted to option 2, which is carried out with your pc. This is easy just follow the instructions and in a few minutes you are connected. I placed the extender in the hall, and now I have gone from dodgy on / off connection in my living room to 5 bars of excellent signal, great. So in summary, if you can read and have moderate skill with a pc you too can have improved internet connection. Well worth the money.Would have given it 5 stars if it had connected automatically.

Too bulky
By Gillian Craigie
Actually this product works reasonably well and was extremely easy to install. We have an old house with very thick walls, and all it has really done is provide a strong, stable wifi signal in the room immediately below our router. By the time you move to the front of the house, it is a bit hit or miss! Main problem is that it wasn't supplied with a UK plug and the adapter provided means that the unit protrudes significantly from the wall.
