The Think Tank Retrospective 5 Black Shoulder Bag is a soft-sided shoulder bag designed for DSLR, Micro Four Thirds, and rangefinder camera equipment. The Retrospective 5 Black will easily accommodate a standard size DSLR and two lenses. This shoulder bag's compact size also makes it convenient for carrying a Micro Four Thirds or rangefinder camera gear. The Micro Four Thirds system is a standard created by Olympus and Panasonic for mirrorless interchangeable lens digital cameras and camcorders. In one sample configuration, the Retrospective 5 can hold an Olympus PEN E-P2 camera body, a 17mm lens attached with the VF-1 optical viewfinder, a 14-42 mm lens, 40-150 mm lens, a FL-14 Flash, a SEMA-1 External microphone adapter set, a charger, cable and extra battery, and the VF-2 Electronic viewfinder. The second sample configuration (photo below) shows a Canon 5D with a 50 f1.2 lens attached and a 16-35 f2.8 detached.

Ultimate Micro 4/3rds Bag

I looked at and in fact purchased a number of different bags before buying this one a I could not justify the high price of this when many others are so much cheaper. Needless to say all of the others have been returned or sold as they simply were not that good, this also included the recommended bag from Panasonic for my G3 as this just kinda said 'mug me'.This bag however is just brilliant and is of the highest quality. One of the things that initially worried me was the length of the shoulder strap as the pictures on the internet showed this as being rather short, but i had no worries here as it is easily adjustable. Additionally I didn't want this to look like some kind of manbag or even worse something my wife would carry. Again, no problems here as it looks like a smallish messenger type bag. Went for the black version as in my mind the pinestone one looks a bit like a handbag, but thats just my view.Yes it is expensive but you are buying quality here and I would suspect it will last many years. In some respects this is the iphone of the camera bag world. You can buy many imitators but there is only one original.If you sitting on the fence trying to justify the cost be reassured that you will not be disappointed as this is simply the best.
