Picture could put you off but flexible boot

I bought size 10 as all my other boots/shoes are. However these seemed big, even bigger than my other Dr Martens which were a similar design. The main reason for this is the zip in the middle for my feet made the boots too wide. There was little way of tightening as when this zip is in the boots have to be tightened by pulling laces upwards which does not really work.However I started to relace as shoes normally are and discovered the zip section is detachable. Now the boots fit perfectly and it is looks like they were never meant to have to zip section. They are really comfortable as all the Dr Martens with leather inside seem to be (do not need to be worn in at all). With 20% off not a bad price either for a casual boot.
