This is actually a CATKIL3

First thing to note is that this is sold as a CATKIL9 model. The model is in fact a CATKIL3. It is the same as the photograph. I do not know how Amazon can sell this watch for such a low price. It is just over a third of the price advertised by other online retailers.The watch is not too heavy and has a very solid feel to it. The rubber strap has a soft feel to it and is plain black with no text or other markings on the outside.Overall very pleased with the price and the quality.One thing to remember is that to keep the lifetime warranty you have to get it serviced every three years by Rotary, but at this price it is not a problem.

This watch has a class and quality about it that transcends the plain vanilla Rotary brand. The finish of the dial and the ceramic case is of a very much more prestigious brand, and there is even a tiny ceramic disc on the crown, real attention to detail. At this price it is a fantastic bargain and to be recommended. It is, as others have suggested, a CATKIL 3.

This is a solid timepiece, nothing bling here just a calm assurance and a very purposeful look. The time/date adjustment via the bezel takes a bit of practice but easy enough to learn. The case itself is very strong and able to take the knock of everyday life in its stride. The timekeeping I expect nothing less than perfection from Rotary (my step-father wore a Rotary throughout WWII and he was in the Royal Navy) so the pedigree and build is great. The strap itself may tax some people as its made of rubber, personally I don't over tighten the strap wearing it on the loose side, this prevents the build up of moisture under the strap particularly when the weather is warm.I have tested the waterproof abilities and can confirm its good for diving to a depth of over 20m and looks good on when your on a night out. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004UJE2TW/ref=cm_cr_rev_prod_title
