These reels cast perfectly have a smooth action and for the price are amazing value. I started with 3 reels and I have since purchased another 2, I use them for long casting with 15lb line and also for spodding. They have replaced my Shimano Aero GTE 8000's for every day carp fishing. With 2 spools you can have both light and heavy line ready for every eventuality.

I have been using them for the last 2 months without any problems whatsoeverthese cast very well & have very good line lay & seem have a good build qualityThe reels are very smooth with Multiple bearings, the bait runner is fully adjustable & has a front clutch.fantastic value & they look good on the bank, they perform as well as many reels costing twice the price, highly recomended.Addition to my review 16/11/2013 I have now purchased another reel as very impressed so now have a set of three!

A friend of mine purchased 2 of these reels and they appeared to be very good so I ordered myself one as well. By the time that my reel had turned up my friends reels both had the same problem. The bait ruuner mechanism failed. He sent his back and got replacements without to much trouble. I have used my Mitchell on around 6 outings wit no problem and then all of a sudden the same thing, the bait runner mechanism is starting to fail. These reels are great value for money if they work but it appears they have a manufacturing defect in my opinion. Shame.
