Bosch MCM5530 Food Processor

Excellent value for money and very easy to use once you get the hang of it. I haven't used all the accessories yet but the blades to dice are excellent - takes around 5 seconds to finely chop/dice a large onion. Comes with a lot of accessories which are very useful and some of them are kept in a drawer under the processor. You have to have space to either keep the processor on a worktop or in a cupbaord as it is fairly large and also space for the other larger accessories that come with it. All in all a great buy and I would recommend it.

Bosch MCM5530 Food Processor

The product arrived very promptly. It was larger than expected, so with limited room in my cupboards, it's sitting on the worktop. But all said and done it has worked very well. I've even used things I had not anticipated eg lemon squeezer. Don't know if that's the novelty value or not.The main bowl holds a lot more than my previous processor, which is good because I make a lot of pureed soups.I'd definitely give it the thumbs up.

A Complete all in one solution
By Arif Saleem
I recently bought the Bosch after extensive research on Kenwood, Russell Hobbs, Breville and other food processors.Quality wise the Bosch is great, it is easy to use and initially takes a bit of time to understand where all the accessories fix and how you can use them. But that is only a one-time learning investment. The unit's built using strong plastics and the attachment clips are made of strong plastics as well, so no chances of cracking or breaking on the slightest force. The suction tabs on the base are very strong so you dont have to worry about it topping over when used on full power. The noise is not as loud as some other models but is still a bit loud. I believe that is due to the 1100W motor in it. One thing I learned after buying this model is that if you are not going to use the dough tool (like us) then you don't really need anything more power full then a 700W ~ 800W motor.Size wise it is a bit big, the motor for the Jug and Blender works at the same time but they recommend not to use it together, which kinda kills the whole purpose of getting a large food processor. The recipe book is crap and the instruction manual is easy to understand but only for people with higher then average I.Q otherwise it would take some getting used to.The stowaway provided is very handy and avoids cluttering your kitchen with accessories everywhere. You can either keep it attached at the base like in the picture or keep it in a drawer which massively reduces the footprint of the base unit itself. All in all a very good product, good design, highly recommended and compared with similarly priced units from Kenwood and Breville, a much better choice.
