top Quality tripod

I have the Auctus Plus 323AT, just a tad bigger taller than this one, which I bought through Amazon from Carmarthen Cameras. It really is a superbly built piece of equipment, and one of the reasons I bought one was its weight, living in cornwall where the wind bloweth all year round I wanted a tripod that would stand firm, I know most tripods have a ballast attachment, but on a grassy cliff top there isn't always a supply of ballast around and if your going to carry it you may as well have a heavier tripod. Everything from the feet up has a quality feel to it and the leg covers are a very durable tactile rubber rather than foam, there is no movement whatsoever when its locked in position, the solidity of the thing is unbelievable and has to be felt to be appreciated. for long exposure shots using filters, landscape or studio work its super, it includes snow/sand shoes and a strong carry case in the price.I have the Vanguard BBH 300 ball head on mine which is in the same league as the tripod. if your worried about the weight get your wife to carry it! but don't let it stop you buying one!
