Keyboard for beginers

I took a bit of a risk when buying the Yamaha NP31 as I had never seen or played one before. I used the review feedback which was mostly positive. As a novice player the NP31 is ideal. It doesn't take up much room and the quality is excellent if played through headphones which I do. The built in speakers are not good compared to the headphones, being rather harsh. Other than this the unit is very good and I have no regrets at all. It's a nice keyboard to play and I look forward to many hours stroking it's pretend ivory.

Excellent Keyboard

I used to play piano about 20 years ago, and decided it was time to take it up again. I really wanted an upright piano, but space was going to be a real problem, I was quite apprehensive about buying a keyboard as I knew that the feel was completely different. After much research I decided to take a chance on the NP31 and I'm delighted with the result. It feels fantastic, sounds great and doesn't take up a lot of space. I bought the sustain pedal also, and this just adds to the realistic piano feel!

Fantastic, so like a real piano

purchased for my young daughter to practice the piano, it is amazing - lightweight, you can clear it away easily when it is not needed. The sound is clear and the tone is very like a piano.
