Overall terrific value considering everything.

Brought this just before christmas picture superb sound acceptable put it through a hi fi or JVC speaker unit and its great.Its a bedroom tv and monitor,looks good and i only paid £150 through Amazon so i am well pleased.

I purchased this TV Monitor to use chiefly as a computer monitor. It took a while to set up the background display to fill the screen without stretching, which necessitated delving into goodness knows how many menus etc. The default colour and brightness were also too vivid for my taste, but could be 'corrected' without too much trouble. However, once this was done it behaved impeccably and gives an excellent picture. Considering the price it is an excellent purchase and I thoroughly recommend it for use as a cumputer monitor. Apart from an initial trial when first delivered I have little experience with the television option, but found nothing to suggest anything other than positive.My only slight gripe is the separate transformer box on the mains cable. Is this normal with TV monitors these days?

I recently purchased the LG M2250D LED TV from Amazon, as usually fantastic service from them. As for the TV it is really good, it has great picture quality although the it could benefit from having more of a vibrant colour scheme as they appeared washed out at times. This for me was not a problem as I adjusted the colour settings to match my older 19 inch Samsung LCD that I purchased from Amazon over 3 years ago and it looks much better. It certainly looks the business too a very stylish looking product but underneath it has its problems, the main issue is of course the sound. The sound is tinny and below par, the speakers on my older Samsung TV were better it's a good thing that I have surround sound otherwise this would have been a disaster as I love my movies. It can be a little bit slow to change channels but as long as you press Ok on the remote it will change almost immediately. It is a little limited on connectivity but no more so than my older TV and is mainly used for my PS3 for games and Blu-ray's and it has only one HDMI so if you own both a PS3 and an Xbox 360 you'd be advised to get an HDMI splitter or use one of then though component connections.So it has its issues but overall it's a good TV for the Price as long as you don't mind paying a little extra for external speakers. If you don't want surround sound just pay for a good pair of PC speakers and connect them via the headphone jack. You ain't gonna lose much just the use of the internal speakers, but it's a small price to pay at the end of the day for better sound.
