Cracking piece of work based on the African top bar design and similar to the model shown in 'The Barefoot beekeeper' by Philip Chandler. This is my first attempt at beekeeping and there was plenty of good communications from Robin on the hive. Robin left instructions on how to mount the legs at home and set up the hive - they come with the kit. The Western Red cedar smells lovely !Fingers crossed for a fecund queen and many good seasons to come !
