Grinders rebel boots

The boots are very good and not too heavy having no steel toecaps. The calf is not lined and they are fairly tight in the calf - as you'd want. I ordered size 9 (My normal size) and found them to be a tad tight. After the old "stand in a bucket of hot water trick" and wearing them for the rest of the day they moulded in very nicely and are becoming quite comfortable now. It may be easier to go up 1 size.Overall I'm very pleased - good quality heavy duty leather, look good with (almost)any type of clothing, becoming more comfortable as they wear in.

Grinder boots

These boots are amazing quality however were very difficulty to get on and off due to having very narrow ankles, with perseverence and some wet paper it was finally accomplished after a few days. 5 weeks on and they are still proving a challenge but in time I have no doubt they will fit really well. I would rate these boots 5 stars for quality however in terms of how practical they are to get on & off i can only give them a 3. Excellent quality boots constructed from very thick hide. I'm a size 9 with a slightly wider than normal foot & they are a perfect fit. The leg section is quite narrow so for anyone with larger calfs they might struggle to get them on & off but I had no problems. The heels are repairable & the soles are both glued & stitched on (Goodyear construction). The boots have slightly undershot heels & are obviously based on the boots worn by James Dean in the film 'Rebel Without A Cause'. Because of the very thick leather they will take a while to break in but well worth the effort. I'm really pleased with mine!
