a weighty watch

This is a very large and heavy watch which I did not realise when purchasing it - I have not marked it down because it is a beautiful watch, just not for me. The fault was mine because seller's page clearly described this watch. Ease of returning items is why I keep on returning to Amazon.

Being a watch addict without lots of money to spend on new watches can be a little hard and sometimes frustrating. It also means you have to be willing to spend some good time browsing websites to find nice & good watches at a good price so you can buy them even if you already have more than a dozen.So far I've been able to pick up some nice deals here con Amazon (one Guess por around 50 pounds, Diesel for around 70 pounds, a great deal on a bracelet Armani at around 90 pounds) but so far this Kenneth Cole watch has been my better investment so to speak.I was very attracted by it's design, I usually like Kenneth Cole watches because they have personality and original designs but manage to be classy most of the time, so it's a good brand to buy if you can't afford Swiss watches starting at 200/300 pounds each.At 50 pounds I was quite sure I was going to buy it, but hesitated a little when I read a couple of comments about it's "big size". In my opinion it's not a "big watch", I do have an small wrist (16cm) and I usually don't like watches over 42mm because they look big on my wrist, and 39mm is what I consider to be the perfect size for me.If you're not used to automatic watches you might find it "big" because it's think like most automatics unless they're slim models, but honestly I don't think it's that big, and the tonneau case (curved & rectangular) makes it less bulky than a round case.The finish and quality of the watch are both quite good and can give a Seiko or Tissot a run for it's money, the bracelt was too big for my wrist so I had to remove a part of it and now it's even better because the bracelet is part mesh and part normal armis, so after removing some pieces from the normal armis bracelet part now the mesh part covers almost all my wrist (and I prefer the mesh for this one).Also, I expected it to run for about 24 hours before stopping when not on my wrist, like most entry level non expensive automatic watches tend to do, so I was surprised to see it lasted for about 36 hours before stopping.At 50 pounds this watch is one of the best deals I've ever seen, and anything bellow 80 pounds it's still very worth it if you like the design of it and don't mind wearing a thicker automatic watch.Solid 5 stars from me, this puppy is a winner! :)
