NAVI GON FINE FOR SPEEDING?

The device is brilliant. Regular update is essential and it has proved helpful on the previous Navigon 8110 series device over the last 3 years.It has however proved difficult to interpret the written information supplied in the box with the website "handbook" information - being silent on some issues. Perhaps someone at the firm could inform the NAVIGON 70 suppliers what software was or was not already loaded on the device.The accompanying literature did not say so, as far as speed detection was concerned. The blurb offering discounted applications from the firm asked you to apply and pay for the Speed detection product as an extra - at an attractive discount ..and then when I offered to pay it to install it, their web site refused to accept payment!They could have said why (it was already loaded) but their automated computer said "NO"; it merely said "error" It's a case of very unclear instructions accompanying an excellent product! If only manufacturers got their act together...and told the client.Apart from such niggles which contact with the firm proved difficult over...at 10p/minute with a non response, we travel well and accurately hoping the device wont play up...
