great desktop/media PC
By Matt
I have just bought my second of these and have been massively impressed with the built quality, compactness and value for money this reperesents. I initially bought one as a low power replacement for general desktop computing (email, web browsing, Youtube etc.) but ended up installing Boxee software and using it as a media PC. I then bought a second one as the initial desktop replacement that I intended. Very easy to install memory and 2.5 inch hard drive (no tools or skill required). I put 2x2GB DDR3 memory and a 500GB and 620GB hard drive into each of my first and second machines respectively. Loads of ports (including usb 3.0 and eSATA) and very portable. Totally recommended.

Great little machine
By Kevin O'Connell
I purchased this barebones with the intention of using it with my TV. I added 4Gbs of RAM and a 320Gb hard disk and installed Win 7 (64bit). Hardware and software installation were a breeze.Performance wise it's not very fast but I didn't expect it to be - it takes a few minutes after booting to settle down and is generally responsive after that. Media playback is very good; web browsing is good though Flash will slow it down. Connectivity is excellent; I've used DVI and HDMI with no issues. Wireless is also good, it connects to my network from any location around my house and out performs a Zotac ITX box that I have (GeForce 9300-ITX). It's also very quiet - even when the fan kicks in. I tend to hear the hard disk seeks over any fan noise, but neither is loud enough to be unpleasant.I also tried it with an USB TV (Avermedia) tuner and had no issues. Overall its a great little machine.

Better than the Atom!
By JP
I spotted this on Amazon and decided to buy one for my wife. She wanted a small quiet PC to do email, word processing and internet browsing- nothing difficult for a PC.This fits the bill well. It is a doddle to add memory and a hard drive and boots quickly and silently. I have loaded windows XP and used the driver CD that came with the kit. All loaded at ease, then installed word and other program mes. This is much snappier than the Intel Atom and plays media from the internet without a problem. It also comes with a wireless card and has USB3 as a bonus. At £177 its about the right price, but the hard drives are expensive at the moment due to a shortage from the Far East.Interestingly I think you can overclock the E350 processor from the bios setup. Can be recommended - might buy another!
