Easy to use. Great bass response. 30w rms.

So what do you get for the excellent price of this unit?Fully functional remote control. Inc battery 1x AA.AM loop aerial. FM wire aerial.Multi language instruction book. What's the sound like? Fantastic. 2x 15 watts rms at 4ohm. Rich bass, delicate treble. (both at 0. can be altered by +5/ -5). I am no expert of the technical side of hi-fi, but I know what I like (in my study).Trail tracks: Pink Floyd "Dogs" (1994 remaster). Pink Floyd's "one foot in the door" (remastered 2011 versions of work from 1967 to 1994) and Led Zeppelin "Dazed and Confused" BBC sessions, (1 0f 228 tracks on mp3 (that's a lot of compression)). Mozart "Requiem" and Jarre's "Magnetic Fields" 1997 remaster. All played at 15 out of 30 on the volume scale. My usage of this system: This is a secondary hi-fi used for work on my computer.CD player: On playing "One Foot In The Door" there was the very, very slightest of gaps (wobble maybe a better word).between tracks which were segue together. Possibly enough to annoy prog rock fans if using this unit for serious listening. The display is comprehensive. MP3 tracks are shown with titles. CD tracks are not titled but do have individual full length times shown if you ">>" to them before selecting play. You cannot fast forward/rewind into adjacent tracks, only through the track that is playing.Radio: ANALOG FM (not DAB) and AM (does anyone use AM any more). 40 presets can be stored. When tuning the strongest signal of a station will be shown by the display showing the name of that station. (eg 88.30 moving to 88.90 moving to 89.30 changing BBC R2).USB input (front): 5v - 0.5A WOT?? This is intended for a memory stick to be directly plugged in to it. Use of a connecting cable is not recommended. Ipod is not supported for this input.Line in (red & black phono sockets on rear): volume is good.So I have had this system for about 1 hour now. It cost me £90. I am very happy with it. It looks nice and sounds awesome. I am 45 years old and have owned many hi-fi and seperates and I am very pleased with this. If any further notes are to be made then I will update this review. Thanks for reading.
