Not for the weak

At 1st I thought it would be good. It will be ok if you leave it up all the time, as long as you have time to wash the lines after bad weather. We found it really difficult to raise and lower. I am a failry strong woman but had to get my hubby to do it for me and it jerked up and split the top part. Now anything heavier than a towel and the whole thing falls apart. We are on the hunt for another. Way to expensive to try this model again.

I bought the aluminum model

I had a look at the Brabantia jobs, after a year the one I saw was rusting. Brabantia now manufacture in Latvia so may be quality is suffering.Then moved to Minky, I bought the aluminum version of this, may be slightly smaller. The thing is heavy, bit how else can you support large amounts of wet clothes. We never collapse the thing its left up all year. The thing spins well in the breeze and is sturdy. I bought off the Minky website direct as not many places sold the aluminum model.Note the vanes on the top rotate, not the complete airer.These things are big. I cant imagine the stakes being secure for long before you have to reposition, so concrete the base in place and have done with it. There is a plastic tube supplied for this, so the pole doesn't rub against the concrete.We like it.Made in the UK.

Speedy delivery which was great as I had broken my washing line and rendered it useless. Although the washing line can be a bit of a pain to put up at first once you get used to it it's fine. A great, robust washing line which is great for a family of 4.
