NOT waterproof!!

I've had this jacket a few weeks now and use it mainly for cycling to and from work, about 8km each way. Hadn't really encountered much heavy rain until today but I found out the hard that this jacket is not waterproof! The main zip is where the water is getting in, there is a neat line of dampness from my navel to my neck. Seems very poorly designed not to have some sort waterproof seam covering the zip, almost every other waterproof jacket I have will have this or at least a better zip design. Other than the lack of waterproofness I was relatively happy with this jacket. Probably won't be able to send it back now because its been worn, just going to have to use it when the rain isn't so heavy :(

Good waterproof jacket

A good jacket when worn as a waterproof outer layer. I wore it on my last rainy trip walking in the Lakes and it performed great, not the warmest of jackets, but not letting any rain through at all. A smaller inside pocket would have come in handy for keys phone etc.Had to return my first jacket as the inside pocket was faulty, partially sewn up, so if you buy one, make sure you check it thoroughly.

This Jacket is very well made, light and stretchy. Just what I needed to have as a waterproof.If you want a jacket that can take a lot of water then look no further than the Bear Grylls Freedom.
