Sweet little laptop XD
By Jy'ral Nad'reth
All I needed was a relatively inexspensive computer for web browsing and stuff, this Laptop is certainly a good buy. After loosing an old Laptop due to the graphics card breaking and a brand new desktop that refused to work...this little laptop made my day. Its fast, its quiet and its got all the features I will ever need. The only problem I have had with it regards Windows 7's issue with older routers as it did cause a few problems at first as the router I currently have is quite old to say the least. Start up is very quick and Shutting down takes 10-15 seconds :D Overall I give this an 9/10 as the Graphics card is a Mobility Radeon and probably won't play some of my more demanding games but I never expected it to be for hardcore gaming lol

Excellent value for money
By Alanjamesa
I purchased this Notebook computer on behalf of my adult daughter who wanted a good general purpose notebook computer. She has no intention of playing games on the computer. After searching the internet it was clear that for £[] a compromise would be needed with regard to the latest specification processors. Although there were some similarly priced notebooks with Intel i3 processors these tended to have just 2 GB of memory and hard discs ranging from 250 to 320 GB. The AMD dual core processor seems well suited to this set up of 4 GB memory and 500 GB hard disc drive. This Compaq computer manufactured by HP comes pre-loaded with lots of HP software as well as Cyberlink Power DVD.After setting up this computer I find it runs very well and is capable of performing all the 'Office' tasks my daughter will require of it using Microsoft Office 2010, whilst at the same time providing sufficient storage space for her music and photo's. The 4 GB of fast memory ensures the computer is well capable of handling several tasks at the same time and of course, the Windows 7 Premium 64 Bit Operating System is capable of using every bit of it. The motherboard is also capable of accepting upto 8 GB of memory so future upgrading is possible. It's worth noting that no recovery disc is supplied with this PC but intructions are included on how to produce your own disc's which finally finished at 5 recovery DVD's.Overall I'm satisfied that I couldn't have found a better notebook computer for this price at this time.

compaq CQ56
By P. Patel
so far, so good. Had the laptop for a few weeks now and have had no problems with it. Easy set up and quick connection to the internet. Mainly using it to surf the net and emailing so not really pushed it yet with gaphics heavy apps yet. Enough storage and memory to last for a few years before any thoughts of upgrading. Good purchase and recommended if after a simple but good value laptop by a trusted brand.
