5Professional gelato just like from a Gelateria
By Hilary
Had owned a Magimix where you put the bowl in the freezer. Useless ice cream. Too many ice crystals. Owned a Cuisinart Deluxe - even worse. Thick layers of frozen ice cream on walls and bottom of bowl.Bought Nemox Gelato Pro 2000 because Marco from Coffeeitalia had recommended it. Wanted to buy the Nemox Gelatissimo first but I am glad I didn't. Nemox Gelato Pro 2000 doesn't make such a noise. Very sturdy build. Not noisy. Fast rotating stainless steel paddle. Ice cream comes out in the same consistence like from a Gelateria and not so soft like soft ice cream. No removable bowl but still easy to clean and saves you the money you would otherwise have to spend for alcohol to add between two bowls. Got machine for a good price. Well worth it.

5Exceeded my expectation
By Tagi
Originally I had my eyes set on the Musso 4080... but like the other reviewer here, Marco from Coffee Italia recommended this model instead. I was hesitant as I hadn't dealt with Marco before and there isn't as much exposure on this model online as it's a professional model... but I can honestly say I was not disappointed. Marco had explained it was a stronger motor and compressor. I can't compare directly but it certainly is strong and cools very quickly...My first batch of Pistachio Gelato (pre-cooled) was ready in around 10 minutes. I was second guessing if it was ready because it was so fast. The machine is very powerful and VERY quiet considering!! After hearing complaints on so many other machines about the noise levels this was surprisingly quiet and a normal conversation can easily be held over it. Stainless steel bowl isn't removable, but really the fuss over having to clean up this style of machine is really not a problem. You take a bowl of water and sponge over to it in about 1 minute you're done.... hardly a big deal.So a truly professional product... it may not be as sexy in design as the musso 4080 or nemox 1700 which are aimed at the high consumer market, (and again I cannot compare the quality of these directly), but the efficiency and power of the machine for similar price as these machines it is fantastic - and that is what counts, the quality of gelato / sorbetto and ice cream it makes! That all said it's still a good looking and elegant machine... (better than the photos suggest) with great construction that oozes quality. The dials and push button feel very good. You can remove time from the timer dial if you've added too much without it feeling like you're forcing it at all.I am really impressed after so much research and debate! Highly recommend as it exceeded my expectations.
